I was here to pick up a specialty cake, there's 4 people working. There's one worker helping the one customer who's has already picked up her cake and at this point, is just chatting.

The 3 other workers did not bother to even help me pick up my cake or ask me what they could do for me. If your service is this terrible, who cares how good the product is.

I'm not sure if it was the lack of common sense, delegation skills, or just pure service.

The cake itself was well made and it was truly a treat. However, service is the most important thing for me.

This is a good quality bakery. The cupcake I ordered is a German chocolate cupcake. The cake was moist but pillowy, and the icing was smooth, not grainy, and the perfect sweetness (not too sweet). Every once in a while I walk over to this bakery to get a sweet treat. Their baked goods are priced pretty fairly as well. All in all, I’m very satisfied.

Ordered the Boxed Lunch with the Original Blue Rooster Chicken Salad Sandwich on croissant, potato salad on the side, and a snickerdoodle gourmet cookie. The chicken salad had great flavor — creamy but not too heavy. The potato salad was solid, classic deli style. Snickerdoodle was nicely spiced.

Also tried the Triple Doozie Chocolate Chip with Brownie— basically a cookie-brownie-cookie “burger” layered with icing. Super rich and sweet — a fun treat if you love chocolate and sugar.

Good portions and presentation, overall very satisfying.

Today I was going to purchase two cupcakes for two separate people. The cashier put both cupcakes in the same box. I asked since they are going two different places can you again place them separately. The cashiers replied “we will have to charge you a $1.” I asked what if I got one cupcake. She said it comes with it. Ok so my logic is I’ll buy one put it in the car and then come back and get the other. She went and told the manager and came back with its one per customer. So what you would give me the cupcake in my hands. Lol

I cannot make this pettiness up. I decided it was okay for them to keep their cupcakes with their petty rules. I prefer businesses who take care of their customers, without charging for every little thing.

People are so hard up for money. They open businesses and want you to pay their taxes, and for their supplies, and for their lifestyle. This extends far beyond blue rooster, they are just another example. I’m sick of being rob!

My wife favorite place to get birthday cakes and pastry for every event. We've been coming to Blue Rooster for over 3 years now, and we absolutely love them

We’ve been to this bakery a couple of times and every time it’s tasted good. So we ordered a custom cake and after seeing the examples on their instagram and on google we were confident that it would look good. We received the cake and are slightly disappointed in its appearance. It tasted wonderful, but the dinosaurs are pretty lacking and the flowers are just stuck on sugar flowers from the store.
Also my husband arrived to pick up the cake and they say it would be another hour until it was ready. To me it looks like they took that hour to rush and finish the cake. Just disappointed considering how good their other cakes look on their social media.

Update: I did contact them and they refunded me half the cost of the cake.

I cannot thank Blue Roosters enough for the beautiful baby shower cake! There was a small hiccup in the process, but it was handled quickly and professionally—and the final result turned out even better than expected! The quality was consistent with everything I had seen on their Instagram, and the best part? The taste was absolutely amazing! Moist, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything was delivered right on time, and the entire experience was professional from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back for future events. Thank you so much, Blue Roosters!

Blue rooster in Monroe did my wedding cake and it was amazing! Beautiful and tasty. Maddy was very easy to work with and did our cake exactly how we wanted it. They are a little pricy but so worth it. The cake was all eaten up at the wedding.
