I waited in for 15 mins at least just when I was getting ready to back up and leave the person I'm front of me finally got their food. The car behind me left. I won't be back. This was not the first time.

I placed my order at the drive-through and then sat for 10 minutes as the third person in line

The first person at the window was still waiting on food when I walked into the restaurant

Two women who have not been in the front of the restaurant, appeared and asked me if I was the person who honked

I confirmed that yes I had and that I had waited 10 minutes before I made any effort to find out what the problem was

I asked twice how much longer it would be for the food

I got no response

I was told that they would cancel my order and I could go somewhere else

I am certain that this is not what The corporate office would consider good customer treatment

Normally, I just consider the type of people that staff these restaurants and give them a break

The woman I spoke to was almost openly hostile

at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, she was defending the lack of food and the amount of time it was taking to prepare it

Normally like I said, I would let this go but this time it’s not gonna happen

I took 4 of my clients here to have dinner. They had a special of $1.99 ads on of shrimp or Hush puppies. The deal stated that if it’s not offer than the customer gets it for free. I made 4 different orders for my special needs clients and had 4 seperate receipt for each other. Once I mentioned it to the cashier he got an attitude and stated what you want? He brought us hush puppies without us stating that was what we wanted. I told him that don’t we get 4 of the deals free being that there were four seperate order for each of the clients? He said NO YOU ONLY GET ONE. I asked to speak to the manager. He went back and came back after 5 mins stating that she’s on the phone. It’s been 40mins and she hasn’t come to hear our complaints. Very displeased with the experience. It was my first time taking them here and will definitely be the last. THE STAFF IS RUDE. The young black cashier guy.

I had a terrible experience at this Captain D’s. The food made me very sick — I ended up with stomach pain and diarrhea shortly after eating here. Clearly, something is wrong with the way they handle or prepare their food. It was not worth the risk to my health. I will never be coming back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I went to Captain D’s September 15, 2025 for lunch I was going to order they’re 599 fish and fry meal however I was told they did not have any french fries the last time I came there I was going to order the fish and shrimp but they told me they were out of shrimp and then they offered me shrimp for $1.99 extra I don’t know what’s going on at the store but I guess the manager doesn’t know how to order french fries

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. I ordered a 10 piece family fish meal on online. The food was ready when I arrived (7:15 PM). The cashier handed me my bags and I left. I got home only to look in my box and had 10 pieces of chicken. I was pissed! I immediately called the store. I was told the regional manager would call me to hear my complaint. I wasn't asked to bring the food back (it was about 8:30 PM) nor did I get an apology for being given the wrong food. Because my family was hungry, we attempted to eat the food. The green beans were luke warm and bland. It was like the can was opened and the beans were put in a container. The hush puppies, fried okra, and fish were also bland. This was not the experience I was looking for. We threw $32 in the trash. Needless to say, I am still waiting for the manager to contact me. SMH. I won't be back!

Wonderful customer service! My cashier, Saint was such a pleasant and friendly person! I’d go back just for her! She was so nice! My food was also fresh and well prepared!

I went to the drive thru and was told it would be 15 minutes just to take my order. Who knows how much longer it would have been to actually get my food. This is unacceptable for glorified fast food. No response so called owner?

So this is my 3rd time coming here since they put up the sign for lobster rolls and every time I come to order they say they are out. No matter what time u go.

The fish fry looks not properly fried, pale yellow in stead of golden crisp. They have problem with the stuff/cook/training.
