If cutting corners to save a dollar was an establishment. I used to order Charley’s cheesesteaks all the time and seeing how poorly the food has become is crazy. Not only is the amount of meat on your sandwiches almost a third of what we used to get but if my chicken and/or steak get chopped down any further (so they don’t have to give me as much protein) they are going to be able to just spread the meat on my sandwich. And of course they want to push adding lettuce, tomato, and onion so you don’t see how much they are ripping you off. You can even look back at older reviews and see the difference in the food over the last few years. Of course we added fries and a drink which they gave me half lemonade half water or at least it tasted like it. I get it we are in a crappy economy and everyone is keeping their heads above water business included, but I’m tired of seeing companies try and take advantage. This will be my last time eating there.

During my recent visit to Charleys Philly Steaks at Sugarloaf Mills, I attempted to order a combo meal, which is clearly listed as an option on the menu. However, the cashier informed my wife and me that this location does not offer combos and that all items must be rung up separately. This was confusing, considering the menu clearly advertised combo options.

When I asked for clarification, the cashier firmly stated, “this is just how Charleys does it here,” and explained that there was no combo button in their system. I requested to speak with a manager, but another employee told me the manager was out of the country due to a family emergency.

As a result of being told everything had to be purchased individually, we were charged separately for a small Philly and fries, which we originally intended to purchase as a combo (with a drink). Once I realized the total was climbing to around \$32, we decided to remove the drinks from our order.

I find it difficult to believe this is standard practice for Charleys Philly Steaks—especially when combo meals are clearly promoted on the menu. I’m sharing this to request clarity, and to confirm whether this location is following Charleys’ pricing and service policies.

Not worth it all. Poor customer service... Spent over $20 and it looks like a $5 meal. False advertisement! My food was not prepared right. Left out my mushrooms and it took 5 people to look over my sandwich. Very disappointed!

Very piss-poor customer service at this location. I visited today around 11:30 a.m. on March 23rd, 2025 and the young lady working the register acted like she didn't know anything and when I asked her to get confirmation on pricing of items she seemed to have an attitude.
Then after my food was ready I noticed that I did not have enough condiments. I went to the register to ask for an additional condiment and the cashier proceeded to go back and forth with me about the fact that I did not ask for an extra condiment. As I told her, it was a moot point. I was just in need of an extra condiment and could pay for it if necessary. Her attitude and all of the back and forth was very frustrating and uncalled for.
In addition, I asked for my food to go. When they called my number they gave me my food and tried to hand me a bag. I asked the lady if she could please put my food in the bag and she acted like It was an inconvenience. She left my food sitting on the counter and took her time putting it in the bag. I stood there and patiently waited because I don't have time to play with these fast food workers.
Please get people that actually want to work here because the entire staff that was here today acted like they didn't want to be there.

Lastly, I will note that the chicken teriyaki Philly cheese steak I ordered tasted delicious. The fries, however, were undercooked, soft and soggy. I have no desire to return to this location in the near future, if ever again.

I have eaten here 2 times and the amount of time it takes to get your food is absurd. I myself manage in retail and understand certain things are out of your control, but when you have a full staff and it still takes this much time and ask the employees look like they are lost baffles me. Also on top of the time there is little to no customer service for anything. No advisement of the time or even a simple how are you doing. If any type of management sees this please work on these improvements.

They have a Colombian girl in the Grill is arrogant toxic treats the companions and worse one is she who is confused and makes orders, and then shout to her companions, it would not go again, it is understood that she delay but because of her attitude is that a zero for her arranged

First, the ordering process was a mess. There was no clear line, so people were confused about where to order. As a result, I ended up ordering much later than I should have—but fine, mistakes happen.

What really got me was the wait time. I stood there for about 20 minutes, which is ridiculous for a fast-food spot. It wasn’t just me—other customers were waiting forever too. Meanwhile, the staff seemed more focused on chatting and laughing with each other than actually getting the food out.

And then, the food itself… easily the worst Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had. It was completely overpowered by black pepper, with barely any veggies to balance it out. Every bite was just salty and overly spicy from the pepper—no real flavor, no harmony. The fries weren’t any better—pale, soggy, and undercooked.

Bad service is one thing, but when the food is just as disappointing, there’s really nothing redeeming about the experience.

Our order was placed at a very slow time and then given to someone else completely.

Food was really good. I got the Buffalo Chicken Philly with cheesy fries (really really good) and hubby got the original Philly. Very please with the food esp since it is the mall after all. Servers were kind and manager right up front for any concerns (there's always that one in line) overall awesome ?
