I dined in at Chilango Taco Bar with my family and, overall, the experience was disappointing. While the food itself was decent, the appetizer portions were surprisingly small for the price. The highlight of the space was definitely the art wall it added a great vibe to the place.
Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, the service was incredibly slow. To make matters worse, my friend was charged twice for the tip, and when we brought it to the staff’s attention, the owner responded with rudeness rather than any attempt to resolve the issue professionally.
Given the poor service and the owner’s attitude, I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend it to others

The suadero tacos here instantly took me back to my beloved Iztapalapa—no joke, one bite and I felt like I was standing at my favorite taco stand back home. Perfectly tender, flavorful, and with that authentic street-style edge that’s so hard to find outside Mexico City. Suadero tacos are so hard to find in Atlanta and many people don’t even know what it is, so I literally traveled from 1 hour away just to try it and it was worth it.
It’s a great place, and if you’re from CDMX it’s a must try. La música igual me hizo recordar mis días en la secundaria- fue todo una experiencia!
¡Gracias por hacerme sentir en casa, aunque esté a miles de kilómetros!

I feel so bad of giving a bad revue because I had such bad expectations, we tried the molcajete chilango (only one) and it was literally nothing, like 5 pieces of shrimp a few of chicken and a steak with a nopal and I paid 40 dollars for that, the flavor was not good, I would try another places

I am Mexican and the taste of the food has nothing to do with it, the overpriced prices are really not worth it, it left me a lot to desire, the water was too tasteless and expensive.

Staff was nice, beer was cold, and food was very tasty. A few items were a bit pricey, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Overpriced and understaff not very attending service.
The food is extremely good, the huaraches are a delight, the tortas are excellent. I'll be back to try more items on the menu. The atmosphere is very nice and makes you feel like you're in a little corner of Mexico.
