CHOPSTIXX THAI CUISINE & SUSHI BAR - Lawrenceville, GA
I've been on the hunt for great little Thai spots, and CHOPSTIXX popped up on my radar. It's a cozy spot with a VERY large menu! If you want to see all the items they offer, head over to Roli Eats on Google—I’ll post the full menu there.
As always, I had to try their PAD SEE EW, because that's how I judge my Thai food. But before that, I couldn't resist ordering their Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. Who can say no to that?! I also grabbed some spicy tuna sushi. Both were delicious and the perfect intro to my PAD SEE EW.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting… The PAD SEE EW was packed with great flavor and amazing noodles. But here’s the catch—I said MEDIUM heat. For those familiar with Thai food, you know this can be a risky move if you’re not big on heat. Let me tell you, this was the hottest dish I’ve ever eaten AND finished. By the time I was done, I was sweating from my eyeballs! ?
All in all, CHOPSTIXX is a great spot with an amazing variety of menu options. They definitely get my two thumbs up! ??
Fair warning though, the parking here is a bit rough—packed and tight. But if you’re up for some adventure, it’s worth the trip!

BEWARE!
I went to the restaurant on Saturday a few minutes after 8 pm. All the advertisements including their door said they were supposed to be open until 9.
When I grabbed the door it was locked, but the open light was on. I looked inside & there was 1 table of 4 people helping themselves to to-go boxes and bags because there was not an employee around & 1 other couple finishing their meal.
I stood at the door & waited to see if an employee would come out. After 10 minutes or so an employee came out the back. I then motioned to her that they advertised they were supposed to be open until 9 pm on Saturdays & she glared at me through the window from behind the sushi station with no reply, hand gesture, or response.
I then pointed at the sign in which she then walked over to where the cashier stands and turned off all the front lights and the open sign.
I motioned to her 1 last time again to come to the door & like the others, she ignored me & walked back in the back.
As I was about to drive away, I saw the party of 4 being let out. It was only about 8:30pm at this point.
I felt so disrespected, especially since I drove specifically to that area to support this new business after working over ten hrs on a Saturday.
This was going to be my 4th time there & I was going to place over a hundred dollar order because I had out of town guests visiting who had never tried Thai Food.
As an African American man, I felt like my money or my business was not appreciated. So I will NEVER EVER patronize this business again.
I found another Thai restaurant about 10 minutes away, who clearly understood Customer Service & made me feel like I was important.
Best of luck to this family owned & staffed business, because if you continue to treat paying customers liked this &/or changing the operating hrs with no explanation it will only be family there supporting you.
Very private little place with very rich flavor of food of its kind!! Recommended ??

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten in my area! The food is very flavorful and the portions can be shared with another person if you want more than one entree. We also appreciate the spice level! We ordered one sushi roll just to try and it was amazing. Overall the food is delicious and the service is great. This place seems pretty low key so definitely come support them and try it out. I can’t wait to go back and try all of their dishes (they have a large selection of various dishes!).

Chopstixx’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in Lawrenceville, and it’s all thanks to the incredible journey of its owners, Mo and her husband. This sweet Chrisitan-Burmese couple has turned their dream into a reality with their amazing Thai food and sushi, and I’ve been lucky enough to know them since they opened a few years ago.
Every visit feels special because they always remember me by name. The personal touch they bring is just one of the many reasons I keep coming back. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal!! The shrimp basil fried rice, the crispy basil pork belly, and the Thai basil noodles are out of this world. The red curry is a must-try! And trust me, when you ask for extra, extra, extra hot, they deliver!
What I love most is how everything is cooked to order, ensuring that every dish is fresh and full of flavor. The portions are generous, and you can taste the care and dedication in every bite.
Chopstixx’s is more than just a restaurant; it’s a symbol of the American dream. Mo and her husband’s hard work and passion have created a place that feels like home with food that never disappoints. If you’re looking for amazing Thai food and sushi, look no further than Chopstixx’s. You seriously won’t be disappointed!

It was almost closing time and they didn’t hesitate to take my order. The Pad Thai chicken and cream cheese rangoo was very good. I will put this restaurant on rotation.

Food was great; service was at an appropriate pace; staff are wonderful! I had Spicy Basil with Seafood - It was EXCELLENT, REAL CRAB, not fake!!! I took most of it home, because I had the Red Dragon Roll also. Both well presented, and delicious.
Parking: Busy strip mall, it was quite full at lunchtime.
