There is one staff in front and two cooks in the kitchen at the time we went, so it took a while for the food to come out. The service was okay but it was understandable because we came near the closing time. The price for each dish was almost the same as other Vietnamese restaurants. All right! The main characters: The special rice combo was decent and the BBQ pork had this smoky flavor. The plateting tho felt like something's missing. The noodle was delicious and BBQ pork was the same as with special rice combo. The fermented fish noodle is smelly in a good way. The broth was sweet and it had eggplants, shrimps, fish slices, and noodles. The noodle with a side of duck salad was best dish. The broth was clear and had a neutral taste, not too sweet nor savory. The tender, juicy pieces of duck dipping in the spicy ginger sauce was 10/10. Overally, definitely try this place out but come early. Last time we went were 8:30 PM.

I came here once a long time ago and I remember their food was great. I came back again to try something else, something fast because I wasn't too hungry. I was greeted by an obviously annoyed person. No smile or warm greeting at all, just asked if take out or dining in. Already a bad start.I was seated and given a menu. I saw they have a few bahn mi and waited for the person to take my order After sitting here for 15min, the same person came to take my order. I asked for the banh mi. Immediately the person said "Oh we don't sale sandwiches here" and left to bring more people in. As I sat there waiting again, the person came back and at this point I just got up and ignored them and walked out.Horrible attitude. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, it was during lunch time but still, unnecessary attitude. I'll go to where I usually go at Pho Dai Loi, at least there they greet you and is more promising. Also if you don't serve sandwiches, then cross them off your menu???

Food: it's one of the only restaurants around that sells bánh cuốn (rice rolls)! It was okay, certainly not the best. For one, I wish the nước chấm (sauce for rice rolls) had peppers and garlic, but it had a nice amount of sweetness. ALSO, I did like the addition of bánh chưng added a nice crunch to contrast the soft rice rolls. Service: lady was sweet and checked on us frequently Ambiance: looks a lil run down. But that's usually a green flag for viet restaurants Ifykyk.

Had lunch with my family here. Not a very big place. They gave me a table where it was dark and dreary and no music. The tea they brought out didn't have any flavor. It's like hot water with a little brown food coloring. The food was okay. It's something you can make at home and it would be less expensive. Most of the dishes are $15.95. Not even worth it. I then paid and got home. When I went home to check the amount charged on my card. The restaurant charged me an additional $5. What the heck is that about? Was the tip not enough? Sheesh. Definitely not coming back. They just want your money.

Com Mai is 100% a Vietnamese establishment that has the pungent smell of shrimp paste lingering at all times and the quick movements/conversation of workers bustling around. They'll not cater to you if you don't speak Vietnamese or know what you're doing. You don't come here for the customer service. Honestly, it was kind of fun. We called the restaurant and defaulted to speaking English to ask if they were open, the response back was "I don't speak English" and then she hung up. I laughed it off and headed to the restaurant. I do speak Vietnamese so I had that advantage and we ordered a duck salad (gơi), fresh rice noodles with pork sausage (banh ướt or cuốn), and the special broken rice platter (cỏm tấm đặc biệt). Food was phenomenal. So fresh, so clearly homemade. Everything that was suppose to be crisp was extra crisp and refreshing. The rice platter was grilled perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the pricing was actually more expensive then expected. The broken rice platter was 17$ which is fine and I'll pay for it again however, for the type of establishment it was (location, customer service, cleanliness, does not cater to anyone) I really thought the dish would be more on the 13$ range!

Hands-down one of the best if not the best place to have Canh Bún. Just take a look at that bowl!

We were craving for bun rieu and this place was recommended. Ample parking and we came around 2 pm on a Sat. Lunch crowd was gone and we were seated immediately by this grumpy Vietnamese lady. We got spring rolls, grilled pork vermicelli bowl and bun rieu. Food came pretty fast and good portion. The vermicelli bowl was great given meats were seasoned well. Broth in bun rieu was piping hot (which is great) but flavor wasn't that rich. They got some homemade meatballs with lots of fat that I dislike. I was given lettuce as a side which was the first. I have had bun rieu from Vegas to NYC and in Hanoi, Vietnam. First time having this crappy veggie side. Going back to the grumpy lady, she never once smiled, greeted or said thank you. Great Vietnamese hospitality from sunny Atlanta!

I've been occasional eating here for the past 7 years and they still have the same waiter! I usually only order their rice entrées because you can mix and match the sides to whatever combination you like. They do have vermicelli or egg noodle dishes, but I personally have not tried them, since I only came here for the rice dishes. Com Mai is good at making one type of dish, and that's all they need to be good at! A great place to eat, but can be far and out of the way to get to.
