Green force is operating an illegal site in my neighborhood across the street from homes and an elementary school. They are not permitted for operation. This facility is loud and stinks and has caught fire twice filling our neighborhood with toxic fumes and drawing the attention of the EPD and the EPA because the water runoff from putting out the fire killed fish and other animals for five miles of the south River downstream. The site was forced to close with an impending hearing but continued to operate in violation on weekends. Besides using raw tree wood they mostly grind up pallets into mulch with no regard for the chemicals used to treat pallet wood - usually pesticides and herbicides that will then be present in the mulch people purchase from them. These people are bad actors and this business should be closed for good. Shame on them for disregarding the health and wellbeing of the community they are assaulting.
