They are consistently good, bread/food is good. Portions and prices are fair. Obviously when there is peaks, service gets a bit slower, but still functional. Of the BBQ chains, I believe they are the best in northeast Georgia.

First, I must say the onion rings, chili brisket and little cheese biscuits were great. I ordered for Christmas Dinner and could only make a few sides since Foot surgery.
We also ordered 2 lbs of lean brisket and 3 lbs. of spare ribs. First of all, our brisket was 25% fat, not lean at all. I HATE FAT! On a lean diet, ordered lean! Wondering if the packers were pissed I gave less than a 15% tip to package my food for Christmas (Not paying full tip if I'm not being waited on with drinks, etc., and clean up and all).
Secondly, the ribs were NOT spare ribs! They were giant voluptuously fat ribs with lots of those horizontal little bones throughout and very dry and over-cooked, hard to rip apart the top coat! I've never had bad ribs here, but they were awful! The Packer/Servers definitely didn't like me when they packed those crappy ribs in a container!
Currently Texas Roadhouse puts their ribs to shame! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. Needless to say our guests did not enjoy Christmas Dinner. They don't have a way on the ordering to contact and leave a review. Here was my order number if they want to contact me -- it was Christmas pickup 12/24 at 1:00: #31911914644717570. I'm going to post this to Yelp as well. People need to know!

Service was fast and friendly. The food was really good and a lot more spicy than I remember. Guess I've been out of the south too long for this to be spicy.

First of all, I have eaten at this location for years and never had a bad experience. But on Tuesday December 10, 2024 I ordered a to-go lunch with an unsweet tea. Look at the pictures to see what they are trying to pass off as unsweet tea. It looks like coffee and tastes and smells like soap. Did they give me a cup of the world's filthiest dish water? Look at the picture! What is that? I was going to go back and demand to speak to a manager, but there is nothing a manager could do to get me to ever eat at a Jim 'N Nick's again.

Went to drive thru at 8pm, 1hr before close. Nobody else there and parking lot almost empty. Lady asked to give her a moment. 6 minutes later, she never came back so we left. Nobody was at the window either. If this is how you treat your customers, I see why you had zero customers.

Amazing! Almost speechless. The service was great (thanks Tommy), the food was even better. I tried the combo plate and it perfectly showcases the spectrum of amazing smoked meats (brisket, turkey breast, carolina pulled pork). My fiance did the fried catfish, it was perfect. Light, flakey, and flavourful. Even our deserts (banana pudding and lemon icebox pie) were amazing. Overall 11/10 and will be back the next time im in the area.

Always great food and service. Had the brisket: tender and flavorful. Always get the collards, and you can't miss with the mac and cheese.
