We’ve been coming to this Joe Muggs for years, and it’s always been a special stop for me and my daughter. The baristas have always been kind and helpful, even making a caffeine-free frappe for her that she’s enjoyed for a long time without any issues.
Unfortunately, our visit Monday was very disappointing. I don’t know the employee’s name, but he had glasses and big orange shoes. He wasn’t the usual barista — it looked like he had been shelving books and then came behind the counter. When my daughter ordered her usual caffeine-free frappe, he said, “We don’t have anything like that. This is an actual coffee shop,” in a rude tone, made zero effort to help, and even laughed at us.
It was embarrassing and unnecessary, especially since we’ve always had great service here. I hope management addresses this, because a little kindness goes a long way.

Got a Lavender Vanilla Latte - I could only have 1 sip. It was ridiculously sweet, was almost fully white (like it had no espresso in it) and was undrinkable.

So when i tell you i haven't been in joe mugss since i was 16 lol i hadnt been in so long but they had great customer service and same great selection. I got the frozen hot chocolate as usual and it was amazing ! It tastes just as good as the one from Serendipity in Las Vegas years ago . If you're ever around Sugarloaf mills for sure run into Books A Million bookstore and grab coffee . I had a super 2000s moment just being in there and getting those old bookstore memories, would go back 10/10 .

I came 12:10 pm and waited for 25 minutes but barista did not come appear. Therefore I left 12:35pm without coffee.Of course, I could understand if they set a sign for returning time, but it was not. First time they said about restroom but when I come to 15 minutes later, they said break time. Even they call to the barista, the barista did not come back when I left at 12:35pm.
