Brown stew chicken not so great for me…plantains are a bit dry too

Have been coming here for years so i'm only leaving this review i hopes that they make a change.

Ordered the jerk wings and a spinach patty .
Both tasted to be more than 3 days old . The wings were hard and chewy (old chicken )

The patty was atleast 3 days old as well.
First time experiencing this here but y'all have to better .

The jerk chicken was absolutely bland, the rice and peas bland. The plantains were oily the mac & cheese bland. I just was not satisfied. I thought it was going to be good. I feel bad because I really wanted to like the food, but this is not it.!! The food has no flavor and that’s the biggest problem, they give you a good portion of food, but it doesn’t matter if the food has no flavor .

Great service however, when I arrived home and started eating some of the oxtails were cold. Red velvet cake was stale and had an old fridge taste. So disappointing. $46 down the drain.

We just received our door dash delivery and and are highly disappointed. Instantly when I saw the Mac and cheese, I was ready to just drive to the restaurant and ask for my money back but my husband talked me out of it. So I figured well although the portion is small, then at least it will be good. I warmed up my wings, Mac, and cabbage. The wings tasted like they were a week old and the Mac and cheese had no flavor. To give context, I am greedy and I love food. This food was so disgusting that I threw it in the trash. I would rather go to bed hungry than eat this garbage.

I'm Jamaican and very picky about the places I frequently buy food from. The food here is delicious. Not a place to sit and eat and make sure you order ahead. I do not like the fact that their red peas soup doesn't have meat. That's my only issue. Other than that their food is authentic and worth your money.

Should’ve judged based on the 3.8 and not gone. The food here was mid. My biggest issue was ordered Jerk chicken and they put some kind of sweet bbq sauce on it. I didn’t ask for bbq chicken. I asked for jerk…. That sauce was not good. Waste of money. Won’t be back.

This restaurant iis not consistent and poorly being managed, on two different occasions I ordered food and it was overnight food, this is unacceptable and I would never recommend or go back.

I ordered oxtail w/ rice and peas $27.00 the food was very bland no flavor, the portion was ridiculous I got five pieces of oxtail and it was all bones, the wait time was crazy, I was so disappointed I would never recommend this spot, waste of my time and money.

Rip off Artists. If, you order online directly with your Google pay, they will claim you weren't charged, but once you check your card you were charged.

I was made to pay again at pick up after my online order showed as paid from my Google account. I paid double and the Mother there is rude and knows she's stealing softly from her customers

So double check your cards, when order directly from their sites.

Brown stew chicken is excellent! The gravy was amazing; seasoned and thick and delicious. First time experience 10/10!!!!
I even ordered DoorDash and it was hit upon arrival 17 minutes away. The ginger drink is so refreshing

I purchased the large oxtail plate...I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED...THEY GAVE ME A LOT OF DRIED RICE..AND ABOUT 5 SMALL PIECES OF THE BOTTOM OF THE OXTAILS,EVERY BITE WAS MOSTLY FAT...THE YOUNG GIRL JUST IGNORED US AS SHE WAS BAGGING THE FOOD....

I was visiting from out of town and really wanted some Jamaican food and found Kingston30. I normally look at the reviews before I go but I did not and I am so upset. The rice was not fresh, the jerk chicken was old and I don’t know what sauce was on it, the cabbage was tuff. If mi did have on dentures mi teeth would a pop out. My friend order the curry goat and the curry they use taste nasty 🤮. She said it taste like dollar store curry. They need a better chef in the kitchen and they need to not use day old food and reheat give customers. I am Jamaican born and raised and I live in Miami so I know good Jamaican food. Do better Kingston30.
