Best tacos al pastor that I've ever had. If you ever had them authentic, you know that they've got to come off of a rotisserie and they've got to have some char on the edges. My God these were so good I wanted to ask the cook if she was married. The only other alternative was to have gone all all Johnny Depp to restore the balance and I couldn't do that. You won't be sorry that you came here to eat. I know it doesn't look like much but I've found that the best street tacos are always in a hole in the wall.

I got the carnitas with rice and beans with flour tortillas. The beans had no flavor, it tasted as if the beans were just boiled and mashed with no seasonings. Rice was overcooked! The carnitas lacked flavor, all you taste is salt. It lacked color as well. My food was to go, and I received 1 green sauce, no lime or onions with my food. I paid $15.00 for a depressing looking plate. I was super disappointed. Unfortunately this was my first and last visit. The pictures listed under this restaurant must be fake because I didn't get anything that looked like that.

It is a great place for burritos. They are huge!!! we normally eat two in other places... here I couldn't barely finish the half of one. Very friendly people. The only thing is the location... that gas station is a bit scary...but other than that perfect for take out.

Amazing meal! It was a bit more expensive, but large portions and excellent quality. We have eaten at most local Mexican places and this feels the most authentic, like we were back home in El Paso. Will for sure go again.

That Walmart is very close to my house and I can walk there, so I like to shop there a lot and the people are very good, the workers are good people.

Hole in wall, met my expectations. Tacos al pastor or the best I've had since I left Juarez. They were so good I felt like going Johnny Depp on them.

Don't let the location fool you. Yes, it's a Carneceria (meat market), Mexican bodega, and restaurant next to a gas station. Now, there are a few tables in the back to dine in, but to be totally honest this place it too small to enjoy eating in store. Don't you worry. They have the BEST authentic tacos in the area and eating in the car on the way home only makes them taste that much better. They also have dishes other than tacos, but at definitely don't skimp on flavor or portions. I've only tried their tacos, which are a decent size and all the meat choices are flavorful. My son came home with these tacos once and after tasting, I asked "where'd you get these?" His response was "at the gas station close to Walmart". WHAT??? After finding out exactly where he was talking about, I took note and eventually made my to La Barata Carneceria and ordered the the pollo, barbacoa and on another occasion, their Quesabirra tacos. OMG... The best!

Outstanding tacos! I have been for breakfast twice (they open at 9am). I got tripa tacos that I always order extra crispy but the majority of taquerias still don’t actually crisp it up. This place DOES! And they’re delicious. The lady who took my order was very nice. Also got horchata both times, which was tasty but on the sweeter side. Ordering it with extra ice helps with the sweetness. It is inside of a market with lots of produce, groceries, and specialty meats. Definitely worth checking out!

A hidden gem as far as I'm concerned. And the absolute best pork I've ever eaten at a Taqueria. I told the girl I was getting over a cold and wanted something hearty to eat. You gotta go with a burrito she said and was really eager for me to try the pork and the beef, taking a lot of pride in their food. I really liked that, and she was very informative and accommodating. I told her I needed the hottest sauce she had to keep my sinuses open. She obliged. Everything was delicious and she made me feel welcome. Such a sweet person. And the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. I have no complaints whatsoever about this little hole in the wall. I am going back and I am getting more of that succulent pork. Soon too I hope.
