As a Haitian mother who is also a good cook. I went to this restaurant and ordered lalo white rice and bean sauce. I also ordered fried turkey with rice and beans. The food was not fresh. They served me food from the day before, beans sauce was missing and the turkey was also from the day before.
Please check the food before you go home. Customer service was not good either. They did mess the order up. I cook better than that.
Always worth the 45 minute drive from Atlanta. 1 of the only Haitian spots that serves good food near the Atlanta area. Good Haitian bread and of course good pate. Not to mention all the Haitian treats you might have grown to forget about.
Over priced!!! SMH for nothing! $66 dollars for 2 plate of food, that's crazy! The Food is a hit or miss!! The portion size doesn't match the price!
Mad stingy with the meat (pause) Ima have to take a trip to Miami or New York to enjoy Haitian food!!!
Service is good when the owner is there but when that young kid is there with the glasses it's the worst.
Great Haitian Bakery. Good selection of pastries and great food. I would recommend.
Has a truck driver OTR. Every time I am in the area, I always visited this restaurant; the atmosphere is amazing. I love the way they welcome their customers.
The food is even better there. I always satisfied.
You will find yourself visiting again.
Waiting too long for this flavorless food. I can't find a really good restaurant besides Encore formerly named Wibbys.
Love this place, great customer service with delicious food. My wife and I visited for the first time, and we will definitely come back.

Excellent recipe and flavors, great Creole hospitality and baked goods, patties and desserts. First Haitian restaurant I've experienced like this. We purchased goods to go home with as well. A dozen mixed Haitian patties, beef, chicken and the fish. Coconut pineapple cake, and carrot cake and some Haitian tablet or Haitian cookies. Thank you so much 🙏.

Can I order paté online here? Please let me know
The food quality is going down. You get more fat than meet with the griot and they hide it under mounds of rice. Multiple times I've ordered sweet plantains only to get home and find out they forgot them or switched them for green plantains.
Great customer service and delicious authentic Haitian cuisine.
Highly recommended!
We will be back .

Very good patties with decent size filling
La Citadelle Bakery is a joyous celebration of Haitian cuisine that captures the hearts and palates of all who visit. Walking through the doors of this charming eatery, you're immediately enveloped in the aroma of freshly baked goods and the warm smiles of the welcoming staff, making it feel like a culinary embrace from the Caribbean itself.
The menu is a vibrant tapestry of authentic Haitian dishes, each promising an adventure for the taste buds. From the irresistibly flaky patties filled with spicy beef or creamy cod – each bite a delicate balance of texture and taste – to the deeply satisfying griot, tender chunks of seasoned pork complemented perfectly by their signature Pikliz. Every dish is crafted with love and respect for traditional Haitian flavors, respecting the age-old recipes passed down through generations.
Their akra, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, beautifully seasoned with herbs and spices, is a crowd-pleaser that can't be missed. Pair it with rice and beans or a side of sweet fried plantains, and you're in for a rich symphony of flavors.
La Citadelle doesn’t just provide food; it provides a narrative — one of tradition, culture, and community. Each visit leaves you wanting more, not just of the dishes but of the stories told through their rich flavors. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Caribbean cuisine or a curious first-timer, La Citadelle Bakery is a tribute to the vibrant spirit of Haiti that deserves to be experienced and cherished.
