Our experience at Local Republic was so good we went twice during our visit to Lawrenceville. On Saturday we went for an appetizer and drinks. We sat at the bar and our service was fantastic. Her timing was above par! We had the Korean Chicken Wings, boneless wings generously tossed in gochjang sauce. They were so good, I seriously considered ordering again on Sunday just to take home. We had espresso martinis, made with vodka. They were really good and for those of us who are lactose intolerant, they do not contain dairy. We went back on Sunday for their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend! When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lady who was our bartender on Saturday. She immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. We were seated right away and the server also recognized us, even though he had not waited on us on Saturday. He also provided exceptional service. My husband had the brisket tostada served with a runny egg on top. He really enjoyed it and I had a bite. Definitely something we would order again. I had their shrimp and grits. I am normally not one to eat grits, but these were so good, I couldn’t stop myself. They were served with a tomato sauce the was spicy, andouille sausage and roasted red peppers. It was so good! I can hardly wait to have my leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Unfortunately, my husband devoured his Brisket Tostada, so no leftovers there. Overall, I cannot recommend Local Republic enough for their exceptional food and service. Their prices are reasonable as well. Our tab on Sunday, which included one more espresso martini, was only $51.

I came in with my girlfriends the other night and they had the best service here. Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing. I got a Lime Daiquiri and one of the burgers. There was a very short wait to get the food and the bartenders did an amazing job.

It was 3 years ago the first time I had a local republic burger, and there was always a desire in the back of my mind to come back here.. I was not disappointed in the least. The juicy burger mixing with the fried egg as it drips upon the fries, every bite captivates your taste buds.
I’m a big burger guy, and this place has never lead me astray. Two qualms I do have though: they no longer do a kitchen sink - so no bombardment of flavor delivered via mystery. Also there was too much meat/toppings for the standard size bun, if you’re gonna make a massive burger, equalize the bun ratio.
Also shoutout to Lee, she was the absolute best, and provided such a great services paired with the ambience of the leaves falling on the outside patio.

I serve on a local PTA board and my fellow board members and I often meet here for brunch while also handling business. It has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. I have never gotten something that I didn't enjoy. I forgot to take a picture of my actual entrée but I did get a few pics of our beverages (a strawberry banana lemon drop, and a Darling Vikki) and our dessert, creme brulee.
Hung out with my husband and went to Local Republic the food was really really good, and the staff was wonderful. My husband raved about the mushroom smash burger, ( I had a bite too and it was delicious ) which he said was amazing. I enjoyed the fish tacos, which were very good, I also ordered a peach cider which was yummy. What really impressed me, though, was the reasonable bill a great value for the quality of food and service we received. We'll definitely be back ( I need another burger 🤣😋

Our waitress was wonderful, courteous, and professional. Salmon risotto was very salty, all the other meals were good for a US restaurant. They do not take cash!!! this is a real problem for me. I don't like to be obligated to pay with card when we have national currency. The music from the place next door will be part of your dinner experience, shameful, this shoul be illegal. I feel terrible for the owners of this place. So here you have dinner, but you must swallow the garbage music from next door and you are also forced to pay cash. The food is NOT worth these 2 inconveniences. Just my opinion.
