Our experience at Local Republic was so good we went twice during our visit to Lawrenceville. On Saturday we went for an appetizer and drinks. We sat at the bar and our service was fantastic. Her timing was above par! We had the Korean Chicken Wings, boneless wings generously tossed in gochjang sauce. They were so good, I seriously considered ordering again on Sunday just to take home. I came in with my girlfriends the other night and they had the best service here. Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing. I got a Lime Daiquiri and one of the burgers. There was a very short wait to get the food and the bartenders did an amazing job.
It was 3 years ago the first time I had a local republic burger, and there was always a desire in the back of my mind to come back here.. I was not disappointed in the least. The juicy burger mixing with the fried egg as it drips upon the fries, every bite captivates your taste buds.
I’m a big burger guy, and this place has never lead me astray. Two qualms I do have though: they no longer do a kitchen sink - so no bombardment of flavor delivered via mystery....
