The service was very basic, however, it was so long. We spent most of our time there waiting. Waiting on the server, waiting on the food, waiting on refills, waiting on our check, etc. They had the game playing so loud we had to ask them to turn it down, and when the game was over, no one turned off the tvs so anime shows were playing (Death Note/Simpsons). Not a very good experience. Food was just mediocre and for what we got we had a pretty hefty bill.
Have eaten here many times. Staff is accommodating and pleasant. Pricing fits the style of food. Have never waited long for a table. Have never felt rushed to leave. Great place to eat and visit with family and friends.
It was great ..
We had a reservation for 12:30 and were seated right away, however it took 15 minutes for someone to take our order. We got our food at least 30 minutes later. The salad was not worth the money- very little ingredients besides lettuce. My chicken sandwich was decent, but not very moist. This was my first time here & most likely the last. Our waitress was a sweet girl- I do not think that this was directly her fault.
Good Food, Good Service. Glad that we chose to meet here
McCrays is marvelous! We walked right in on a Friday night with no wait. That was amazing for 5 people. We loved everything that we ordered. You MUST get the pretzel! It was warm, soft, and splendid.
This was our first time dinning at this establishment very enjo enjoyable
We had family visiting from out of state. We were a party of six and decided to sit on the rooftop. They gave us the menus and told us we can go upstairs and sit wherever we would like. When we got upstairs there was no table for six set up so the two servers watched us put tables together. When our dinner came they told me they forgot to make my meal and would bring it out when it was done. We watched two other tables get their food on the rooftop when I finally called the server over and told him to cancel mine because I just didn’t want it anymore so I didn’t eat dinner. Both servers on the roof looked miserable and barely spoke. They also had to take another meal off for one of my family members because it came out all wrong. Terrible experience. Also on the way out I saw that their health score was an 83 which is not good at all.
Tammie S. Was the Most wonderful server! Great personality, great service, and so sweet
KO was a great server, quick and friendly with our order. We intended to have several drinks but left shortly after the manager approached us to request we "bring down the vibe" and walked by several times to ensure that.
Truly dearly love McCray's. Such a cool little spot on the square. (Parking is a nightmare but hey, not their fault!) I haven't eaten one bad thing there. My most recent order was the southwest bowl with fried chicken, and MY GOODNESS. It might the best I've had. Lots of drink options, and my personal drink of choice - hard cider - is on tap, which is awesome. Wish we could make it out more often. Just a really perfect little treasure that has never done us wrong!
The smash burger was one of the best I've ever had and the wing were definitely jumbo and tasted great. Me and my wife are going back soon without a doubt. And the drinks were great too!
When you start changing for pickles and onions on a burger and not for tomatoes which are all staples you have gotten too greedy. Been going to McCrays for years . No more. What a greedy world we have become
We held our end of the year luncheon here and could not have been more pleased. Everything was excellent from the moment we walked in until we paid our check and left. Excellent, attentive service and delicious food.
