Very nice place, fun vibe. Drinks were good. I had the creamy mushroom chicken. It may have been the best chicken dish I have ever had. Wife and daughter split the churasco steak and it was delicious as well. Will definitely be returning.

 we have been here a number of times. The service is great. We love the cocktails. The appetizers are amazing. There are many times. We will just have a bunch of appetizers for dinner last night. I had the churrasco steak which was amazing.
I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday. The ambience was great but food however was just okay ish. The empanadas we ordered was very dry, and the chicken with mushroom sauce came out to be salty. They have buy one get one free sushi deals on Wednesday which is great value but taste wise, it was not that great. If I were to go back, I would really just go back for ambience and drinks but not the food.

Highly recommend this restaurant! My friend and I were in town for a concert and wanted something semi-casual but upscale in taste. MonteMar met all of our expectations. The food was truly outstanding. Flavor, presentation, portion size - all were excellent. Service was also excellent. I would return if I visit the area again.

went for valentine's dinner with wife and daughter, friendly staff and decent service; had a valentines limited menu and while the choices were good, the drinks were sent back twice as they served us what tasted like sprite and mixer instead of what was on the menu. the steak was overcooked, appetizers small portioned and overall was not the best experience; luckily we have been here several times so this may have been due to the crowd or new wait staff.. we will give them another try as this is a neighborhood favorite for us.
