WOW! We had a delivery through Door Dash, and the chicken arrived piping hot. The coating was not super heavy but extremely crispy with a hint of spiciness. The meat was so moist that juices seeped out when pierced with a fork. The fried okra and potatoes and gravy were great as well. The biscuits were flaky and soft. We had left over chicken straight from the fridge for lunch today. The coating still had crunch, the meat was still juicy, and spice was a bit more pronounced. It will be perfect for picnics. We have found our favorite chicken!
This was our second time ordering the fried chicken and it was delicious, made to order hot and fresh. The side dishes however are disappointing, I chose not to order the family meal like I did last time because the side dishes are SINGLE serving size! If you order a family meal you expect larger side dishes to feed the FAMILY. I ordered a size of potato wedges for $4.99, see the photo it was 6, yes 6 potato wedges... just ridiculous. I recommend the chicken for your family but get your sides somewhere else.

Dang hate to say it because usually the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes are a favorite in my house hold but definitely not ordering either from here again the mashed with gravy was a big blob of yuk! Mac n cheese tasted off .Fries and Cole Slaw are much better choices.Ordered for the whole family Fried chicken is on point definitely recommend the fried chicken 10/10 .Wings 8/10 tried the mango habanero , garlic lemon pepper, buffalo lemon pepper sauces had a good flavor. (i think next time we will ask for extra crispy)Overall the service and atmosphere are great and very welcoming!

OMG ? hello NY. I am in heaven. The whole chicken wings with wedge fries are to die for!The chicken brought me back to, Barnes Ave, or Gun Hill Road where I would get my fried rice and chicken wings with that little piece of sweet dinner roll that just set it off! You know it is good when they cook it right there for you and you start rocking and singing. We didn't make it out the parking lot. I got to go back and get me a bucket of that chicken. I will try some other things on the menu. But that chicken tho!.. ?
