We absolutely loved our experience at this Argentinian bakery in Atlanta! The coffee was incredible—rich, smooth, and perfectly paired with the pastries. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. Service was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home.

Our favorite treats were definitely the dulce de leche croissants and the sugar croissants—they were out of this world! In fact, we loved everything so much that we went twice: once on our second day in town and again right before leaving, just to stock up on more pastries and coffee.

Thank you for such an authentic and delicious experience. This spot will definitely be a must-visit for us every time we come back to Atlanta!

My friends and I absolutely love this place! The pastries and lunch options are top-notch, and the customer service is always warm and welcoming. It brings us closer to our beloved Argentina with every bite. Always great vibes and even better flavors!

First, let me start by saying that I’m an Argentinian who moved to the US when I was 8. I know good Argentinian/Uruguayan food, and growing up, one of the things I missed most were the empanadas, the milanesas, the churrasquitos — and, as someone with a monstrous sweet tooth — especially the facturas. Sigh. I shudder to think of the long stretches of time I’d go without a cup of coffee with a good medialuna, cañoncito, or milhojas on the side.

Luckily, for the last eight years, I don’t have to go that long without the taste of home. I live about an hour away from Panadería Criolla, but I’ll make the drive without an ounce of hesitation any time the craving hits me. This place is as real as it gets. From the cappuccinos to the choripanes to the empanadas to the facturas, every option on the menu tastes exactly as it would in Buenos Aires. Over the past couple of years, some more Argentinian bakeries have popped up, but many of their offerings have been Americanized. Good for business, but disappointing to those of us looking for the real thing. If you’re looking for delicious AND authentic, I’m happy to report that your search, like mine, is finally over. And, as a bonus, the service is top notch; the staff is warm, helpful, and fun to chat with.

In short, if you live anywhere in the metro Atlanta area, put this place at the top of your list. Worth the drive, decently priced, and perfectly authentic. Always looking forward to my next visit!

It is so unfortunate that I would have to say, I don't know what kind of Uruguayans frequent that place, the experiences I have about their products are disastrous, such as old, dry, hard pastries, and I would even say that they have been in the display case for more than two weeks. , with a refrigerator taste, supposed chocolate alfajores made with tapas cut from puff pastry tapas for pascualina, dried and the hard almost black dulce de leche, we bought two trays of assorted doughs, not a single one was enjoyed because they were old and ugly, appearance without comment, but according to the saleswoman everything was fresh, also last Saturday, we bought a chaja dessert, of course fresh too, well not either, the saleswoman said they did it last night, what night would it be, gentlemen, I am 66 years old, since I was 12 Until I was 39 years old, my profession was this, obviously the cakes were other disasters, of course I have the ones that I make, frised for any occasion, when my wife was going to buy yerba, she was tempted with something for the mate and bought, surprise Other Mazacotes, know that I am not making this comment out of a bad person, but out of anger and disagreement, money wasted and, they lie to your face, they are light years away from being a Uruguayan-type bakery, but at least they have the forms , and the photos do not reflect anything at all, also this same Saturday, he bought dry and hard sandwiches, with ham and super salty soft white cheese, which by the way the most striking thing was the price, sorry I know this will be deleted, but someone You have to say what you think and feel, about the old barter of spending good money in exchange for ???, some will enjoy your money and you, filling the garbage can, here there is something unfair for someone, and we are the consumers who fall in the nonsense of the so-called nostalgia, regrettable gentlemen, very regrettable.
