Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Grill

They are very kind and attentive. The food is tasty and good portions. I want to go back. Between 4 people we didn't spend more than 100 dollars and ordered drinks.

Not sure what was going on we went in the middle of the week at lunch and they were shut down exclamation point hopefully they will be up and running again but I am not sure what's happening here

We tend to end up at Papi's at least once on every trip to Lawrenceville. There is enough seating to put our large group together, or we can just meet a smaller group for drinks. We also like to get sandwiches to go. Papi's is one of the few places where we will order Cuban sandwiches. All of the food choices are good, and the margaritas and mojitos are definitely worth ordering.

We decided to try something different of course and this place was wonderful. It felt like a quick fill you up but definitely tasty and filling. We tried the empanada sampler with 2 chicken and 2 beef and they were hot and delicious. The white sauce was tasty and the green sauce was but with a kick.
Husband tried the grilled fish with congris rice and plantains and I had the camarones al ajillo with congris rice and plantains as well. Both were very tasty and fresh. The congris rice was very different but putting it all together made the taste pop for sure. The kiddo for chicken tenders and fries and she loves the fries. We also tried the rey's Cuban sandwich and it was amazing. The meat was tender and the bread was soft and fluffy. Needless to say we enjoyed this experiment and would definitely try it again. The waitress was nice and helped us decide on what to try and even took a look at other patrons plates to make sure we got just what we wanted.
If you get a chance to try this place, you won't be disappointed.

Food was good, with something on the menu for everyone. Our server was friendly and made suggestions on the food when we asked. Service was a little slow, though that wasn't really our server's fault since it looked like she was the only server at that time and she was also manning the bar. The atmosphere was pretty chill and the music wasn't too loud.

The best cuban sandwich, fresh bed, plenty of fresh meat inside. But make sure u adk for the mayo and mustard on the side,otherwise no left overs, the sandwich is preety large portion.

Papis is one of my favorite places to dine, I am from Miami and it reminds me of Miami, when I go there I feel like I am at home, one of the managers Frank is an amazing person, I used them to cater my wedding and Frank took out the time to help me with my selections, Janet is usually my waitress and she is very personable and so friendly, all the staff there are always so hospitable, i highly recommend Papi’s if your just looking to have a coffee with some cuban danishes or if you're looking to enjoy an authentic cuban meal. It's definitely a place I wouldn't go back to.
A waitress was talking very badly about customers to her co-worker in front of me.

It made me feel like my money was worthless.

If they don't want customers
If they are so undesirable to you
They should close that

Got take out, and it was very good. Good empanadas, good shrimp salad, very good black beans. Will be back again.

Went for lunch. Not a lot of people. The food was great. Had the Cuban sandwich and the thin steak sandwich. Service was good, no complaint.
