Silany's restaurant lakay

Small restaurant but my GOD the food here is amazing. We went last night and they had live music. Owner came and introduced himself. We definitely will return for authentic Haitian food.

The food is amazing! I’m from New Jersey so we know good Haitian food and this reminded me of home. I would give it a 10/10 if I could.

I came in for a delivery pickup and no one greeted me. The person working in the kitchen looked directly at me but said nothing. I announced the name of the order and got no response. So I went over to the counter where the food was packaged and left in the open where anybody could have taken it. I went to check for my delivery order with a corresponding receipt only to find out none of the food was labeled or had receipts attached and the owner comes out yelling, " You do not touch the food. " I explained to her that I was there for a delivery order and she attempts to chastise me about how I shouldn't have touched the food. To which I responded, "Well, no one greeted me when I came in and no one responded when I called out. Usually there are names on the orders." She points at me and says, " I don't care. You don't touch the food." By this time I'm tired of the disrespect and tell her she needs to watch how she talks to people and she tells me I can leave the order and it will still get picked up whether I do it or not. I started to leave the order but I had already told the customer that I was picking up the order. Therefore I decided to be humble and tell her that there seemed to be a misunderstanding and that I understood that it was her store and she can run how she wants and I let her continue to be disrespectful as she aggressively asked for the name associated with the order and angrily handed the order over. I told her to be blessed as I left and she said "I am" with an attitude. I will never dine here, suggest this establishment to anyone nor will I accept any orders from here. The owner is an extremely disrespectful, incompetent, attitude queen. Plus the food made my car smell horrible. At least the person who ordered the food tipped well.

Just ordered some fried chicken, black beans, rice, and plantain. Wow! Wow! I have never had food so tasty! This fried chicken that just melted in my mouth is on point! Thank you Silany’s for this mange

I popped in for a quick bite to eat. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. I would return to try more things off the menu.

Food is always great. Staff is friendly. Takes a while to cook but they cook to perfection so I’m not mad at it!

Upon entrance I received a warm greeting. Also when I called the person answered was very helpful and accommodating.

I requested the Chef to prepare Potato Salad, Djon Djon, Griot and Macaroni gratiné. It was the most AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, FRESH, and high quality food I have had in a while.

I am a southern catering who had a haitian client that wanted Southern Food and Haitian Food. I had to leave the Haitian Food to the experts. We will come back again for business and pleasure.

My dear, I didn't buy paté at Lan Selany's restaurant. OK, I bought 2 patés today. Today, Aransò is pouring Eli centi. I called to explain the problem. The girl pretends she doesn't speak Creole, this is the reason I'm going to post this video because of her lying about her not speaking Creole never again ?

So glad we discovered Silany's restaurant lakay! Our host was very gracious and kind and the food was delicious! We ordered the broiled snapper with steamed rice as well as diri a djondjon. It was so good we ordered to go for our parents. We will certainly be back to support this business.
