Customer service was A1, food was even better!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The curry shrimp and the red snapper were amazing. I have never in all my years on this earth have ever asked to meet the chef I wanted him to know how much we thoroughly enjoyed his food. I have been twice and I look forward on returning. I’m telling all of my friends about this place!!!

This place is a hidden gem that needs more recognition. I can't speak for most of the menu, but this is the best jerk chicken in the area. They also put so much flavor into their rice & peas, which is something even the top Jamaican restaurants around here fail to do. My last visit, I tried the seafood soup and it was absolutely phenomenal.

Let me start with I am Jamaican and my cousin makes his own jerk seasoning but I ran out of it, so I opted to order out. So I read the reviews and decided to give this establishment a try, based on the reviews and the fact that the owner shares my Dad’s first name. I’m very picky when it comes to Jamaican cuisine. When I placed my online order, my daughter and I put in the “user preferences” of gravy on the rice and peas; as you can see the gravy is missing. For me to spend over $70 on meals and not get what I asked for is a faux pas. First, they gave you a plastic fork but no knives. Then the chicken wasn’t bad but I have tasted better jerk chicken. The plantains weren’t bad but they weren’t anything to write home about. Bottom line, the food wasn’t bad but if an establishment can’t follow simple requests, no matter how little or how much a customer is paying then it just shows that satisfying their customers are not their #1 concern.

I have eaten at a lot of different Jamaican and Caribbean places and while they have all been fantastic, not one of them ever reminded me of my mom's cooking. That changed with this restaurant.

We had the fish strew 5/5, flavors were authentic and delicious. The curry chicken is also good, I just needed to request gravy on my rice 4/5. The stiff, chief and owner were courteous and polite 5/5.

I went to this place because my friend raved about it. I got takeout - the Oxtail dinner, which consisted of Rice & Peas, cabbage and oxtail. The rice & Peas was good. The cabbage was okay. But my big disappointment was the oxtail. They gave me a pile of bones covered in dark brown gravy. It looked like what was left at the bottom of the pot after three days. I sifted through the bones to find bits and pieces of trashy meat covered in the darkest gravy. It really looked as if they had scraped the bottom of the pot. I felt insulted and disappointed. If I ran a restaurant I would never serve that to customers who spent their hard earned money, I would rather tell them that the oxtail was finished.The only reason why I did not take it back was because I was already home more than 25 miles away. Needless to say, I will not spend my money at "Sparkle D's Restaurant again." I wasted my money, and I feel insulted. I will not recommend them to anyone ?

This restaurant is Top Tier! Loved the Decor and the food was sooo delicious.. We had the Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken and Esco Fish and loved it! Will definitely be coming

Awesome customer service. The vibes here is adult chill in my opinion. Watch a good game here. Not completely sure if this place would be kid friendly but definitely date night or hanging out with friends. Caribbean style food here. Bar available. Dine in or take out. Delivery services will need to go inside to the bar to pickup orders. This restaurant is located in the Publix plaza. Plenty of parking.
