Went through the drive-thru to place an order. I ordered 10 doubles for my daughter's birthday. They proceeded to treat me like a criminal. Made me leave my children in the car to come inside and place the order. When I asked the manager what a threshold was for the drive-thru order I was treated with absolute disrespect. Manager's name was Justin Williams. Zero people skills here. Don't expect customer service.

I strongly advise against visiting this establishment with children due to its lack of a kid-friendly environment. The manager, Johnathan, exhibited behavior that was detrimental to the well-being of a five-year-old child. It is concerning that his supervisor, Doug Casson, appears to be accepting of this behavior. To provide better service, both individuals require additional training on managing situations involving young children. The subpar customer experience may contribute to the declining sales they have been experiencing and possible closure. Following this disturbing encounter, I am exploring options for therapy to support my child's recovery. Steak 'n Shake must reassess their customer service protocols to ensure a welcoming environment for all patrons.

so don't get me started this lady was being rude to my mother!!!!!!!!!!!! and she gave us horrible food the meal we order had burger and fries and the burger we order was supposed to have ketchup I think mustard and pickles but all we got was a messed up hamburger!! that only had meat and it was greasy as hell the bag tore open but the crazy thing is that this is the first time this happens to me don't recommend u come here this place.

The food is bad quality, the shake only taste like sugar and doesn't have flavor , it got way more expensive that it was for them to worsen their quality of food, and the employee sighed in the middle of me and my son ordering which was rude.

Only went for the beef tallow "RFK'd" fries, an improvement in flavor and texture. Kiosk orders only. Service as slow as ever. Understaffed and very clean.

The manager, Doug, THREW, my money back to me because I complained about recooked onion rings. He tried to make it about my attitude when he was at Walmart when I ordered. Yes, he was at Walmart. I will never patronize this location again, and I’ve live in L’ville (2 miles away) for 28 years. Believe me when I say there was more to his response than just throwing money back. He had a different look in his eye!

My son ordered food from Steak and shake for Uber. This was not the person from Ubers fault. He ordered a large Dr. Pepper and it came looking almost like water!! The fries were upside down in the bag. Very greasy burger and didn't get the sauce he was supposed to. Very disappointed.

I made mistake with my order a the manager named Richard was not helpful and told me he couldn’t do anything because I paid with my card. That’s not true plus you can only pay with a card at their kiosk. I won’t ever come back.

Steak n shake is very different than it used to be, I think they must have gotten sold a while ago and now are being run differently. They used to have table service, now you can only order from a robot at the counter. Their onion rings are improperly fried and way too greasy, I should have gotten the fries. In order to fill up your cup you have to scan a QR code by the soda fountain first. I ordered iced tea but when I got to the drink area there was no iced tea. The workers didn't seem to have the ability to put tea out or let me get soda instead. My friend got a shake too and said the shakes are still good. I'll just go to sonic next time I want mid century style burgers.

Don’t go to the store when you call them they don’t answer the phone and if you go through the drive-through and ask for a bowl of chili he will pay $5.50 however if you asked for a cup of chili you will pay $3.70 and guess what it’s the same container the bowl in a cup or the same so you pay 550 for the bowl but you don’t get any more chili so just get the cup because the cup is 370 and you get just the same amount how they can charge you 550 for a bowl when it’s the same as the cup for 370 that’s a rip off
Rude & incompetent staff, dirty eating areas, and the food is always either cold or stale. I’ve ordered from here twice, visited once, and they have never gotten my order right…not one time. The owner’s franchise rights should be revoked and the entire staff needs to be culled/replaced. This place has zero redeeming qualities. Throw the whole restaurant away and start over.
