This review is longggggg overdue. Service is always fast! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Love their vibes. Always clean with an enjoyable view of downtown. It’s been my taco Tuesday spot for the past 4 years since moving to Lawrenceville. I’ve relocated in Duluth and I still make sure to pop up on Tuesday’s. Love the different variety of tacos. Some of my favs are the Steak or Chicken queso, Cajun shrimp and the OG (chicken) with a margarita on the rocks. My son likes the San Antonio, Nashville hot and of course the steak & queso. Everything tastes so good. For me no matter how many I order I find myself ordering more 😋 I love to try them all so I definitely switch every visit. Can’t beat the $5 margaritas on Thursday’s either. The mango seems to be popular. Stop by & rate them for yourself.

this place was really disappointing. i really wanted to like it and i got three tacos and so did my girlfriend to try to get a feel for the menu but overall it was just so below mediocre. food was cold, flavors are so bland, too pricey for what it is.

I've been here before and the service was fast and good. I waited over 30 mins for 3 tacos today. None of the employees were working with any kind of motivation, and the manager did not seem to care.

This was great taco place when it opened, we went today and everything just looked plain and commercial.

Food and service is great and the staff is very friendly.

I ordered the San Antonio and Steak & Queso tacos. I liked the San Antonio more but neither of them work great. Both flour tortillas were stale and not enough filling inside. The steak & queso, the bell peppers were overcooked and mushy.

I also ordered Mexican street corn and cilantro lime rice. The street corn was the best thing I ordered.

Disappointed : (

Even though they were a tad busy, we had fantastic service! The staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful, and welcoming. The tacos were outstanding! It was my mother-in-law’s first visit, and she loved it, too. We’ll definitely be back!

I hate to post a bad review, but the food just wasn't good to me, I got a steak and queso taco, Nashville hot chicken taco and street corn.

The steak taco was extra greasy, the Nashville Hot taco didn't have any type of heat to it, just tasted like honey and Cole slaw, and to hear how street corn tastes from everyone else I figure I'd try their rendition, no bueno.

Nothing against the staff, but yall need to change the cook. I won't be coming back

Fun place for a nice Mexican meal. Be prepared to describe what you want made and they will make it. I started with an O G steak bowl, but I was quickly out of my league with complimentary ingredients, so the young lady behind the counter fixed a delicious bowl for me. Nice seating outside, so you can appreciate the town. Great place to meet friends and have a beer or mixed drink and a light dinner. Parking can be challenging during busy times.

Price is a little higher but worth trying. I have done take out and dine in. The tacos are best! Meat quality was good too. Very clean. The sauce on their food is soo good and plenty however, I wish they had more hot sauces out so we can just grab to use.

Parking: There’s a parking deck nearby and street parking.

I’m so saddened by this. This was the special place that my husband and I would always go to eat when we lived in Georgia. We’ve missed it for years and talk about it all the time.

I’m visiting Lawrenceville from 8 hours away to get surgery on my jaw. I haven’t been back in 3 years. All I wanted beforehand was my favorite tacos from my special restaurant that I’ve missed so much.

After our 8 hour drive, we got major attitude for walking in 35 minutes before close. They were cleaning and picking everything up, and it was immediately clear that they couldn’t believe we’d inconvenience them in this way. We both felt like we were intruding or something. Every time we interacted with staff, there was a clear resentment towards us. I was scared about my surgery already, and this was meant to be a treat. I was so incredibly uncomfortable the whole time, we barely spoke to each other over dinner. 35 minutes seems pretty early to close down. When we left, five minutes before actual closing, other people were still there eating. Still though, we just wanted to leave as fast as we could.

When we got our food, my chicken on every taco was very cold and nasty. I’ve never once gotten up the nerve to complain to any staff. I don’t want to make anyone’s job harder or get people in trouble. I go out of my way to be kind, and I’ll always say my food is great no matter what. This was my first time EVER asking someone to warm my food. I really tried to eat it, but I just couldn’t stomach it. I got up the nerve to ask, but they didn’t really respond to me. They took it, awkwardly held it under a heat vent, told me to wait outside, and made me feel very weird about it. They poked it with their fingers, and eventually stuck in a meat thermometer, all while laughing. I was apologetic, but I really don’t know why. This was my last real meal for a while, at my special place. I guess not all good things can last forever. Thanks for making me never want to come here again.

2 Thumbs down from our entire group unfortunately. Really wanted to love this place but it was just really bad all around. We were fooled by the positive reviews. Everything was very bland. Black bean tacos consisted of white unseasoned rice with unseasoned beans. The salsa was bland and watery. The "Mexican street corn" was nothing like you'd expect. It was like cold canned corn with a sprinkle of cheese on top. The fried fish tacos were way over fried and batter was not good either, same goes for the green tomatoes and brussel sprouts tacos. I could kick myself for having picked this place for my birthday dinner. Won't be dining here again. ???

We ordered chips and salsa, guac, coconut shrimp taco, fried fish taco, al pastor taco. The salsa and guac were extremely bland. My husband described the salsa as "this is what I think salsa would taste like on my first attempt making it at home." Which perfectly described how underwhelming it was. The al pastor tacos were soggy by the time they got to use because there was so much sauce on them. The meat was extremely dry with an unpleasant grainy texture. The other two tacos were fairly good. The staff was nice, service was fast, but overall I'm not sure I'd be back.
