To start this isn't the type of place I usually go to. There was a difference in service between my table and the other two tables that were sent near me with the same waiter so it was kind of odd since I can hear them. The place itself was kind of cute but could have just did a little bit more not my thing.

The service is really good. Be careful of the food. I don’t think the food was fresh. It made me very sick within a few minutes after eating my meal. The food came out very fast after ordering it. That was the only thing I ate that day. This will be my last time eating there and I will not be returning. You be the judge.

I’m not sure 5pm was just a bad time to come, but it was my first time at this location and i am not pleased. The food was not Fresh. My corn was mushy and it tasted like my snow crab legs were rewarmed. When I brought it to the managers attention afterwards on my experience, she seem unbothered and did not take accountability. Instead she insisted that the food was fresh when I am the one who ate it. I wasn’t looking for a free meal or any refund, I simply wanted to share my experience.Atmosphere- it was an unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant. I should have known it was a red flag however, I was hungry and decided to stay.Long story short , this is the worst location I’ve been to. I would never come back.

Shrimp and catfish were too greasy. Onion rings were swimming in grease. Worse Juicy Crab I've ever been to.
Not complaining about food or service other than the fact we could not get crab leg crackers and my wife’s fried fish was more batter than fish. I am disappointed in the fact that they automatically add a 20% gratuity. It was my fault for not paying attn to this so server got a really good tip. Doubtful I will take my family back. Will go back to Hook n Reel in future.

If u got 2 hours to go and eat then u can go At your own risk.. the wait time was like 10 min but when u get to the table it will take 30min to get the order, 15 more minutes to get the drinks, and easy 25 min to get the food.. don’t even bother to get refills on the drinks… good luck with that… the shrimp was dirty inside u can see the black in it.. the chicken tenders, I do better flavor in my home, and the fry fish was unflavored also.. we was very disappointed with the server (lots of excuses for being late while we saw her taking to the other servers while our table needs drinks, or at the end get the card to charge, we give the card and ask for refills to another server) i always wanted to go and eat there but after this experience i will never go back there.
