Three Dollar Cafe Buford

Upon arrival on Tuesday, 9/23, between 4:30-5:00 PM my fiance and I arrived to the restaurant. We have frequented other locations before and was very happy to have one closer to home. There seemed to be a sole server and the manager sitting near the front door. When we walked in, neither greeted. The server stood and walked towards us timidly without saying anything which we then stated we would be dining at the bar to which he just nodded.The manager stayed seated and never spoke a word. The place was pretty dead from what I could tell with only noticing two people at the bar. Upon walking to the bar, we took our seats and were greeted fairly quickly. The bartender did not tell us her name, which I later found out was Carly after asking her. The initial interactions were positive with Carly. She was nice, funny, attentive, and thoughtful which I greatly appreciated. When placing our order, my fiance and I both ordered the single order of wings (side bar: the bartender had to ask us if the “single” order was the 6 piece or the 10 piece) with both of us asking for all flats and ordered different sauces. Our spinach dip we ordered at the same time came out very fast and not long followed our wings. When Carly brought our order, I noticed that my wings did not come out all flats. Carly did not ask if we were okay or if everything was good but immediately walked away. She did not come and check back after dropping off the food. Eventually my fiance called her name to grab her attention while she was at the other end of the bar cutting fruit. She came over and I expressed my issue. She seemed to be attentive and ready to fix it but also seemed turned off. In reality after the fact, I waited roughly 30 + minutes for my new order to come out. During this time of waiting, Carly was not attentive and completely absent. My fiance had to call her over and ask for a water refill. She never questioned if I wanted another drink after having finished my first one (which was honestly not very good). I had lost my appetite by the time my wings did get delivered. I ate a couple of wings and we boxed the rest. In addition, the manager walked around briefly while we sat and dined but never did any sort of check up or communicate with us (even after having sending my food back). The bartender herself had her air pods in the whole time and towards the end, she was walking around pouring beer with her physical phone between her ear and shoulder. When we were finally leaving, the manager was sitting at a booth near the front door and never bothered to look up or bid us farewell. Our nicest interaction was the two servers (I assume) that maybe he recently arrived and smiled at us and told us goodbye. Needless to say, I am hesitant to return regardless of the proximity and convenience. We have always thought so highly of 3 dollar, but if this is the standard to which it will be held to, I cannot see myself returning. It overall was an upsetting experience I have not had before at other locations.

First time there. I had a location near me in Lawrenceville that closed a couple of years ago😔 The atmosphere and service here was terrific. The food was good...not quite as good as the one that use to be near me but definitely worth experiencing. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Management zero stars. Great location. Great dj. Decent food. Can't support based on potential. Go there if you are desperate. So many choices in the area. Stay away. Can't see how they are still open honestly.
Oh....they close at 1. Turned us away and others because the manager said they were closed. However we live near by and 1 hour later we can see they are still open.

Went there for lunch with my wife and it was not a great experience! I have been to several 3DCs and the food has always been delicious! The Cuban sandwich was not bad but the fries tasted like they fried them in dishwater!! The chips and dip trio was bland! The tortilla chips were the highlight of that appetizer!! The mozzarella sticks were ok but the marinara was meh! Also, when we were seated no one came to us for roughly 8-10 minutes and it was not busy at all! Server was attentive but the food was sub par! I would not recommend eating at this particular 3DC!

We had the pleasure of trying out this place next to our house and the food was amazing the server Shane was so nice and very attentive. Nice music good extra hot def a 10/10. I will def come

I placed a delivery order and I called to check on my order. The man who answered the phone said hold on and hung up. I tried to call back but he wouldn’t answer anymore. I was nice and polite so I don’t understand why he was so rude to me. I called back and a lady helped me. Won’t Ever Order Here Again! Just lost me as a customer! I asked for lemon pepper wet wings, I got dry wings.
