I was not a big fan of Waffle House cooking and service, to me it was just ok. But when I had Alex the cook making the food and Tae Tae serving… I’ve introduced so many customers to this location(who to this day keep coming even without me), best Waffle House I have been to. Food is incredible and you can’t get more friendly and caring service

The daytime cook here sucks!!!! Very slow and the food isn't good at all. The nighttime cook cooks the best food I've had at Waffle House on this side of town. Every now and again I come in the daytime/afternoon, and I'm disappointed every time.

Came in to get a late night snack. Tae was wonderful. She was very attentive and even struck up conversation. She let me know about the extra egg charge which I wouldn't have noticed. She multi tasked very well and was overall a great server. Probably my favorite place to go to eat now.
So I’ll paint a picture. It’s 5:40am on Friday 2/7/25. I walk into this Waffle House hungry and ready for a cup of coffee. Now when I walked in there was one patron waiting for a to go order and one patron already sat and eating his food. There was a cook and a server on staff. I sat down at a table and decided what I wanted as the server finished bagging up the to go order. When she got done she stood about 20 feet away from me with her left side facing me and an air pod in her left ear and very quietly asked me what I wanted. Thinking she was in the middle of something and would like to get my drink going I told her “I’ll start with a cup of coffee”. She said “huh?”, which she does after every time I said something to her. I repeat and also told her I don’t want cream but I want Splenda. She asks what else. I told her I wanted the two egg breakfast but I also wanted to add two eggs. “You know that costs more right?” Yep. I see all the signs and I watch the news. I specified I wanted white toast (because they carry other versions) “it comes with toast”. I am aware. Completed the rest of my order and she goes and tells the cook. All of this was done with a very snappy attitude from her. She brings my coffee and silverware, then she goes to get creamer and brings it to the table. I waited a couple of minutes and had to get up and go to the register to ask for the Splenda I had already requested. She hands it to me. I sit back down and prepare and start drinking my coffee. By the time she brings the food (which was phenomenal by the way, props to the cook) I had finished my coffee and sat the cup near the end of the table. She walks away, does some stuff at the front counter (now mind you all this time she keeps looking at something by the register and she would hang around the register, I’m assuming it is her phone) after a couple of minutes she comes back and puts the check on the table.. still not refilling my coffee. Everytime she comes by she’s in a hurry to get back to the register. I finally catch her attention and she refills my coffee. I finish my food, and write this review. All while she is still watching whatever it is by the register. For those who want to know, her name on the check says “Tae Tae”. I couldn’t get a good enough look at her name tag because she would come by so quickly. If I ever come back here and she is working I will be sure to walk back out. And to add to my comment earlier, the cook was fantastic. The food was amazing. That guy should get a raise.

I've been coming here a while.. and y'all can't seem to get it right. When I say I want my bacon fully cooked I want it cooked not uncooked. It always happens with the bacon at this particular waffle House . Please teach your staff how to cook bacon properly. It's really upsetting. PLEASE DO

I had a very bad experience at this place. The staff on duty greeted us with a lack of interest and never offered us service. On the contrary, they turned around and acted like there was no one there. They continued to act like there was no one and to make matters worse, there were no tables ready to be used because they had dirty dishes. One of them tried to clean but never finished his job and when they deigned to talk to us it was to tell us that they were changing staff shifts. Terrible service and shame about the place and the reputation that the workers of that place gave it ? ?

i had a server with black curly hair and glasses and he was terrible. spat in my food and called me names and purposely gave me the wrong food to get a reaction out of me. he also danced on my table and played loud music. terrible server but he was lowkey serving looks, what a fine man.. anyways chill service 10/10 love the food will come back especially to see him again
