My Mom was craving soul food so we ordered from here & she said the food was DELICIOUS! (Didnt leave a bite on her plate - even the yellow cakebwith chocolate frosting, she devoured it all immediately!) As a Vegan I can't quite rate the menu but I really came to rave about the excellent customer service. They were extremely helpful and caring, just wanted to mention the cashier Mark & the polite security guard (didn't get his name)... it's sadly rare to find kind people in businesses in Georgia, so the quality of service stood out to me. Highly recommend them if you eat soul food.

Customer Service is awful... Staff is rude and unprofessional. It's simple read what on the ticket place what's on ticket in the bag. Hand the bag to customer. Dont't tell the customer you know you order a drink you should have ask for it.. It your job to make sure each order goes out properly. I understand good help is hard to find now. Training is mandatory for survival.

We have been eating at this location for years and have never had a bad meal. The Duluth is also one of my favorites. My go to favorite meal is the turkey wings with rice, gravy, black eye peas and collard greens (cooked with turkey). I also normally get a veggie plate. I swear the peach cobbler should be awarded a gold medal (?)We have referred and taken a number of friend's families and colleagues, to WGS, and they love the food and service. One of the best soul food restaurants in Georgia.I will be eating there for Easter.

This restaurant is ok for soul food, not the best, but most definitely not the worst. I ordered the rib tips, and they were fairly good, but I'm not a big meat eater. I normally order a veggie plate. The mac and cheese was better this time for me, cabbage was ok, but the black eye peas, rice and gravy were delicious. I'm not a fan of the sweet potatoes either. You have to try different veggies to see what you like best. The inside is really small so if it's crowed you will stand outside. Service is pretty fast, so no long wait for your food.

I used to go here all the time back when they first opened. I don't know what happened, but this location has fell off! They put all their effort into the Duluth location and I'd be happy to give that location 5 stars, but this one doesn't even have the same menu. No beef ribs, no croissants...The drink selection sucked, no diet or zero sugar drinks only water. They also removed the tables so there is only a small bar area to eat at if you decide to dine in...Not sure why they have a security guard...but he was mostly flirting with the women that came in there instead of securing the premises. The bathroom was small and co-ed...smelled funny...and was poorly decorated. My husband ordered the meatloaf, cabbage, and black-eyed peas...they only gave him one piece of meatloaf, used to be two...tasted like unthawed frozen processed meatloaf, not homemade...I ordered the oxtails, mac and cheese and yams. The oxtails were over yellow rice...never seen this before, but the pile of rice was not good. The mac and cheese was old and dry, the yams had too much nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar. I was very disappointed that we spent almost $50 in there for this mediocre food. The teen at the register couldn't hear my order because the music was so loud! I asked if we could eat in there and he thought I was asked if they sell weed in there...I just rolled my eyes at him. Like why would I ask that?!!! He apologized, but whatever. I told Bae we will NOT be returning to this location, only Duluth.

Service is a little slow, but professional. Food was good, but needs more seasonings. I will try it again, maybe it was just that day. It was my first visit.

SERVICE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED no one there is friendly and the guy at the cash register just looks at you and waits for you to order he doesn’t even say hello how can I help you or anything we just looking at eachother everyone in there had bad attitudes and the girl is just mopping around like she doesn’t want to be at work , the food is mediocre and overpriced . I also waited over 30 minutes just for tenders .zero stars for service they need new staff!!

The food is good, but the attitude of the person taking your order at the register is awful. The last person (older lady) was better but not like "we are grateful for your business/money. I used to look over this type of stuff, but guess what, ? I work hard for my money, and things are just too expensive to deal with an ungrateful person's attitude! I spend time tracking down black/brown owned businesses to spend my money. Depending on you and you treat me and/or others... strike 3, and you are out!

I have ordered from this place 3 x's and each time there is always something missingThey either forget your side, your drink or dessert. It's like damn you don't wanna to make a big deal but it happens each and every time. How hard is it to read the receipt and place said items in bag and hand to customer/s. The difference between the 2 store (Lawrenceville and Duluth) are staggering. DULUTH is most definitely the better location if you want your order right.
