Fried whole catfish and fried shrimp combo plate was delicious. We had a piece of homemade butter pecan cake afterward. It was DEVINE! Always friendly service. We have eaten here several times in the past. It's a long way out in the middle of nowhere, but it kind of makes it unique in it's on way.
I ordered Mullet DINNER (2 piece) and there was only 1 piece left. The waitress offered me to move to the 1 piece for my order or she could add catfish nuggets so I will have enough. I accepted the latter. The mullet came undercooked. The skin under the breading was still silver, like no fire had hit it. I got the catfish fingers, fried shrimp, hush puppies, French fries, and coleslaw with an ice tea! The food was outstanding. Nothing was greasy. Everything was fresh and very flavorful! My mom has a dairy allergy and she was able to order the same minus the hush puppies. It was awesome they were able to accommodate her needs.
