So I ordered through door dash. I got the house salad but when it came it had mushrooms added. I am allergic to mushrooms. Therefore I couldnt eat any of the food i had ordered incase it was contaminated by the mushrooms. When i called the store a girl answered. The first thing she said was we are no longer taking orders over the phone (this was about 30-40 minutes before close). She didn't even say her name or the place of business. She said their house salad came with mushrooms. I double checked doordash and they do not list this ingredient in the house salad. They said I had to dispute the order through doordash. I explained that I just wanted to come up there and swap out the food. They said no call doordash so I asked for a manager. I spoke to the so called manager . I couldnt understand him but I think he said his name was yay. He too said I couldn't get my food replacement that I had to call doordash. The manager yay hung up on me. When I called back they acted like they didn't have a manager named yay. I asked if there was a different manager available and they said no he was busy helping customers. I said "I am a customer and my order was messed up" She hung up on me so I called back again. This time the manager supposedly answered the phone but I couldn't understand what he said his name was. I asked if he was the same one I spoke to name yay and he said yes. At the end of the day I got my money back from doordash but no food and the restaurant wasn't willing to help at all. I will be reaching out to corporate about this and the unprofessional way it was handled by American Deli. Ps. I just pulled up American Deli Menu and it doesn't say anything about mushrooms in the house salad. So the staff and manager just lied about that. I will NOT be patronizing this business anymore!! Had to edit my review because apparently the owner is the one that lied and said he was Jay another manager there. I just spoke to manager Jay today and he said he didn't work the day before. So the owner posed as someone else and hung up on me plus didn't do anything to rectify the situation.

Bruh this is a rip off. Food just nasty no seasoning and they just don’t know how the cook I got a Philly it had no meat on it and it was nothing but onions bread all soggy. Y’all are trash at cooking. I would never eat here again. Do not eat here I rather eat the nasty McDonald’s in front of it.

The manager of the store was very unpleasant and did not want to reprocess my order due to door dash issues. Never ordering from here again, my apologies to the staff. I am a loyal customer and I have never experienced this problem before. RIDICULOUS!!!

My wings had feathers on them which was a bad experience overall. It seems like no effort was made to remove them. I visit American Deli for their small or medium-sized wings. However, this particular location seems to purchase wings from a different vendor that do not meet the standard. There were young black girls at the front who were just sitting there and looking at each other, which seemed unprofessional. This experience has made me hesitant to conduct business in Black neighborhoods. I expect quality service from restaurants or establishments in the black community, and unfortunately, I do not recommend this place. I suggest going to another American Deli where your money and time are valued.

Updated my review to 5 stars. They made some staff changes, and now they are the only American deli we will eat at. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff is friendly too.

Really small wings and overpriced. The extra fries didn't balance out the small average tasting wings. Wings tasted ok just really small. Never going back. Everyone save your earned money and pick anywhere else.
The food here is nasty as hell! I’ve tried 3 times over 2 years and was always nasty. No sign of quality coming from this place. I’ll never go back again. I’ll eat a bag of chips before I even think about eating here. A soaked wet sub, mini overcooked wings, and sour drink!!!

Don't ever, and I mean ever, order a Rueben sandwich from this place. It's so tiny made with 2 slices of toast, and the meat is chopped up like a Philly cheese. It looks nothing like the pic. Im from NY, and it's far from what I'm used to. The owner is just going to look at me like I'm stupid.
