Stopped here on a whim after walking at Arabia Mountain Park and after reading some of the reviews. It is a very unassuming restaurant located in a plaza that looks almost vacant. Do not let that fool you! The food here was outstanding! It is freshly cooked, very delicious and most importantly it was hot! The fish was cooked crispy like I asked for and the fries were even good. The lemon pepper wings were seasoned just right. The entire meal hit the spot and the customer service was very friendly. I would definitely return.

This morning I had a taste for breakfast and didn’t want to cook. I called my order in, the person that answered the phone was polite and informative. When I arrived my food was ready and hot, I added a coffee and it was added to my meal and made effortlessly. I enjoyed every bite. I would have taken photos but I scoffed it down on my ride back home. If I can give 10 stars I would. The food is delicious.

I ordered what the CALLED A PLATTER..it was 2 small pieces of j*** chicken with a up charge for cole slaw and bake beans!! The turkey burger was a frozen patty and the WORSE PART....I ordered sweet potato pie and tasted old, the CRUST WAS VERY HARD & BURNT!!! I PAID 38.00 I'm hoping they make nesseccary changes ASAP! Better quality food or lower your prices. Also being friendly go's ALONG WAY!!!

I ordered fried whiting and hush puppies, while working in the area. The meal was prepared well, rather swiftly, and it tasted delicious! I will definitely be going back to try more items. (Sorry about the photo. I HAD to take a bite. ?)
This was one of the best Thanksgivings ever thanks to Applewhites Eatery. ALL the food was great! Fried turkey, ribs, salmon, brisket, collards, yams, green beans, brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, carmel cake, sweet potato pie. Every dish was delicious. My only regret is I didn't fix myself or wife a plate for the next day. All the food was gone, immediately! Not a crumb of cake, nothing was left...I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Wings were undercooked, one was still bleeding . Staff could be more polite. Not worth the money. Also, it taste like they put lemon juice on the wings for lemon pepper flavor instead of actual lemon pepper seasoning, yuck.

Service was minimal. Take order move on relationship. No greeting. No smile. No extra effort. The food is a D, and that's kind. I know it's harsh but my chicken was hard, the bbq sauce tasted like Kraft, the Mac and cheese was mushy, and my lemonade tasted like sugar water. How do you mess up a beverage? Nothing was good, nothing was eaten so it was a waste of money. I'm happy to support A B.O.B. but I refuse to get treated as an inconvenience and have low quality food.
