Dilworth’s BBQ in Lithonia has some of the best rib tips around! It’s a small family owned restaurant that’s been around for a very long time. Whenever I need my rib tips fix, I always go to Dilworths for the large rib tips plate.

Never open! I came on a Saturday one hour after they open and the doors are locked. There was a lady on the inside waving that they weren’t ready yet so I left and came back four hours later… and they still weren’t open and ready! It’s been like this the past three times that I came.

On last Saturday 04/11/25. I had an taste for BBQ and since I was on that side of town and had been to the restaurant once before. I just knew the food was going to be good. I chose the two meat and sides. The rib tips were more bones and fat than meat and the BBQ leg quarter was burnt and could not enjoy it. I called back to the restaurant but there was no answer. The potato salad was not homemade as I was les to believe but the greens were tasty. It'll be awhile before I go back there. It was an waste of $ 18.

Sooo delicious ribs!! Delicious and a good portion of the sides! My husband and I couldn’t finish one slab with two sides. We had mac and cheese and first time having fried cabbage both were super good. The service super nice!! We felt great eating at the restaurant, but everybody else was taking to go.

They didn't open at 12 it was close to 1. It was people waiting in their cars for the food. I said if they're waiting it must be good. I'm glad to say that I stayed and gave them a chance. I got the rib plate with two sides. I added on an extra side. The ribs were tender and seasoned very well. My sides were macaroni and cheese, collards and potato salad. I got two meals and and extra macaroni and cheese. It came up to $30. It's definitely worth trying. I will definitely be back soon!!!!

Today will be my ABSOLUTE LAST time even thinking about this place. Been driving from northern Gwinette for years now because I love the food! But these unprofessional people DON'T EVER open on time or on the days they say they're open. I've ALWAYS had to wait outside even when I purposely show up after their opening hours! This time I sat outside for an hour until 1:15 watching multiple people come and go. Each with the same look on their face.
If a business needs more time, put a sign on the door, change your hours... SOMETHING! Try to support black businesses but we have to do better! Had to call all my peeps that eat there or I brought food to and we all agree, no more with this place. They obviously don't care about their customers and it shows.

Well yesterday was my first and last time I had to order rib tips they were burnt crispy I couldn't even eat them baked beans out of the can Mac and cheese was terrible I will not be back .
