Fireside Jamaican Restaurant

First off how can this store be Caribbean and serve pan seared food like the chicken was dry and there was no love in it. Like do you even stew the brown stew chicken at all!!?? The plain rice was the best part.
I also ordered the ox tail and managed to get all the fatty bits like come on the seasoning taste just like browning. I tried to give this place a chance and i ordered a few different times but the food remains the same. It taste like it was rushed…. The food is already expensive please at least try to make it taste good. The stew chicken should be falling off the bone from sitting and cooking in the gravy all day melting in your mouth…disappointed cause I spent my money and it wasn’t worth it. Now I have to find another spot.

This spot is my favorite for lunch. I can eat here all week! The jerk chicken is great. Shout out to Miss. June and Nadia they always treat me right. The owner is fire 🔥

This was the worst fire side of have ever had the workers was so rude nasty attitude I had Jerk chicken meal the chicken wasn't cook all the way the chicken taste like it was boiled and it was cold the cabbage was extra hard like crunchy hard the plantains was hard the only thing that was alright was the peas and rice dnt never waste ur money or time hete

The serving lady was very nasty. Peas and rice were old, dry and recooked. The visit was unpleasant and unwelcoming. 10/10 I wouldn’t recommend. I mean, instantly she is giving nasty looks, no greeting while me and my daughter is in line waiting, we ignore her efforts to make us feel uncomfortable then when it was our turn to order she told us to wait so she could take the women behind us. After taking the women’s order as we patiently wait she finds others things to do for a while until the person behind us said something. My daughter couldn’t understand why it happened but I did. The atmosphere was horrible but the music was nice. Wish I could give .2 star. Very unwelcoming.

The food is excellent, and the service is very good. However, the restaurant is primarily set up for takeout rather than dine-in customers. While they do have tables available, there are no bathroom facilities, so there is no way to wash your hands on-site.

The rice is good. However there was a dead fly in my Rice. I tried calling but no one answered.
