I don't drop in often, but haven't had a bad experience in food or service, including this last trip, where I noticed the place wasn't packed as usual. Looking at some of the recent reviews, I kinda see why. You guys at Fireside don't spoil a good thing.... there are other Jamaican restaurants in the area that can pull your customers.

Food was so nasty no taste whatsoever customer service is rude this suppose to be Jamaican spot don’t taste nothing like Jamaican food try the spot in Stone Mountain Island Jamaican restaurant they taste so good don’t waste your money at this Fireside Jamaican restaurant I wasted $27 a big waste the food was horrible no taste flavor etc

The customer service and the food is great. Love the oxtails.
The Jerk Chicken was not jerking and it had no seasoning whatsoever. I can’t believe they used bagged vegetables to serve their customers..Also, the food had no taste and no flavor. I would never return back.

I went there today to order some food and as usual the line is always long. There was a guy in front of me that ordered like 4 plates and drinks the lady at the register said his total was $100.58 to be exact he gave her $101.00 he left with his things and she run it up on the register but the total was only 48.65 not sure on the change and she put some total in the register and it said $5.40 as change and she stuck it in the tip jar. Idk what is going on but that is definitely stealing from the customer and the business if you don’t own it and if you do that makes your actions even worse. I definitely won’t be eating here again.

Great food but inefficient service. Slow, long lines, too much talking on the line. They would do well to take phone orders.Update: Service has gotten MUCH better with the change of some workers and the increase in people working on the line. Food quality is still great and always plentiful. I only miss getting breakfast because that is usually gone by 10 am. I LOVE a good Jamaican breakfast, but I can't get it anywhere if I don't get up at the crack of dawn! Yeesh!Parking: The parking lot is not owned by the restaurant, and the entire environment is janky. Quite a bit of "activity" goes on in that lot, so lock your car, check your surroundings, and be careful at night! Get in and get out!
