I had an exceptional experience at this restaurant. The flavors were reminiscent of the most delicious home-cooked meals I've ever enjoyed. Unlike most dining out experiences, I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. The owner's attentiveness stood out as he went above and beyond to prepare a personalized vegan dish for me, taking into account my dietary preferences. The combination of top-notch service and the cozy atmosphere of a small business truly deserves a 5-star rating.

IF you want AUTHENTIC SOUL FOOD this is the PLACE!! EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING IS GOOD! The barbecue oxtails are very delicious. Chef Thomas catered my birthday party and it's still the talk after 2 years! I almost forgot the bread pudding!!!!!!!!!

This is why I’m never “moving” to Georgia‼️These gas station food spots are NUTS! We pulled into The Gullah Chef in Lithonia. ACTUALLY we circled back to get this food. This man should be ashamed of himself cooking like this in a gas station. Got me and my husband eating in the car via cellphone light ?……. The spot ain’t cute but it’s clean and the food is DELICIOUS!!! #abouttomakemyselfsickWe ordered wings, shrimp & fish, mac and cheese & collard greens. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had Mac/cheese and greens from a restaurant this good.. LORD HAVE MERCY! The cornbread was… you just gotta bite it to know! The fish, shrimp and wings were good!!The gentlemen who served me was very nice. Jumped up as soon as I walked over and made my main courses from scratch. He was pleasant to speak with and engaged in good conversation.Don’t let the looks throw you off. YOU WILL MISS YOUR BLESSING?I need to cater this food.
