Great authentic jamaican food. Staff is great and the owner is friendly. However, their portions got smaller. For the amount they charge for extra oxtail's, Banana Tree restaurant on Redan gives you double the amount of whole oxtails on a large plate with plantains. The food is good, but the portions are much smaller, including smaller amounts of rice.
My mom and I came to try the beef patties. She decided to order jerk chicken and I also got stew chicken. They didn’t have beef patties, so I got chicken. It was obviously curry chicken because once I bit into it, it was definitely spicy. I enjoyed it still. Also, when I opened my plate I had oxtails and not stew chicken.
