Used to be my favorite spot not sure what happened but it has gone downhill badly. Went yesterday and they only had three entrees, ran out of mimosas (said $5 mimosas all day), and most of the appetizers were gone. They also have a new set of rules that are extremely long and ridiculous as the establishment has always been real chill vibes. Won't be back.
Great time the dj speakers were way too loud. It was hard for me and the waitress to communicate. I've been there before on a Thursday and the speakers weren't that loud.
The food was good. My husband enjoyed his crab legs. Our waitress was great. Will come back!
My 47th birthday was the best. We had a ball. Everything was excellent. Thank you so much.
Cold, bland food with a side of dry customer service. Only reason not giving a 1 is they attempted to appease my friend who received a plate full of inedible food but they unfortunately fell short. We had the oxtails and lamb chops, blah. Oxtail egg rolls were good but contained barely any meat. Myself and 2 others that visited last week will not be back...ever.
Our waitress was very nice and she came to check on us. To make sure everything was good. The food was ok the Rasta pasta was blend and could have had more protein. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. The waitress made our night great.
The food was great but if you have a problem with your order they will serve 5 others the same meal before fixing yours . The bench seating is hard needs to be recussioned asap. The regular chairs have some stains or cigarette holes . The food was great though . They handle big parties the best they can . The waiter did great with such a big crowd . Devan I believe . I had to clean the tables myself . They set down the cleaner and a rag but never came back .
Great place to dine. Very pricey, unfortunately my crab cake came out cold, someone else food was brought to my table. But it was busy because of valentine's Day
Last night, I went to a bday dinner that was cool. The vibes were good, the food was aiight, and it was good to see familiar faces. However, I would like to point out the inconsistencies with Black businesses and what they charge patrons for drinks. I ordered two Remy margaritas. Why were two drinks $44?! $44 for two margaritas in a 12oz plastic cup?! The margarita was $12 and the Remy up charge was $10. I ain’t no way in the HELL drinks are that expensive. I get the price is the price, but this is highway robbery. This is why a lot of us don’t frequently patronize Black owned establishments. Price gouging via outrageous drink prices without the wait staff giving a heads up about the upgrade that essentially equals another drink in price is egregious. I’ve never been the type to ask how much a drink is, so I just won’t be going back here because $80 for three items (two 12oz drinks and an order of mediocre egg rolls) is BULLSH*T. They need to do better.
I love my first time experience

1 stars for the really good server and the fried green tomatoes. The snapper, wings and pikliz was TRASH! The seats were dirty and the silverware was wrapped with dirty linen..it should of been a red flag with the other 2 locations being closed but here we are…

I just went there and I’ve been going for a while due to my dad loving the seafood paradise but for this particular time idk if it was them coming off of brunch or something it was just really slow I did an call in order and I pull up no body at the front my bill was hella high due to a service fee and added on taxes I got the paradise with Rasta pasta with jerk chicken the Rasta pasta was a damn joke no bell pepper it was soupy as hell and with broccoli in it no flavor what so ever my dad stated his seafood paradise was too spicy to enjoy it. As well I had to wait for some change like wth yall ain’t just open

We went Saturday 12/15 in the middle of the day 4pm. About 10 guests total in there. Food took 40 minutes to come out. My friend and I both got jerk pasta. It was bland and the sauce was watery. Women’s bathroom was disgusting. Unflushed toilets, no toilet paper, no paper towels to wipe hands, and only 2/3 stalls available for use. Would not return and do not recommend.
I love the food and the atmosphere is great. But you can definitely forget about calling ahead and placing an order. I can never get through on the phone!!! Everyone knows Jamaican food is made to order so it takes me 15 min to get up there and 25+ min to get my food so this is a major inconvenience. They are on different apps(postmates, uber, DoorDash) but you can never use them because they always turn the apps off. I wish they would do something about this.
Kid-friendliness: I don’t think it’s appropriate to bring kids, since they have do serve hookah and they do not have kid menus. So I would not recommend bringing kids but people do bring them

Cap city! First time visiting the establishment and their menu was not the menu advertised online. We were told the dinner menu was not available and the restaurant was NOT prepared for the dinner menu. We were told because of the owners decision they opened the dinner menu but took 30 minutes to place the order. Left and came back 30 minutes later and the bad news was that the kitchen was closed to the dinner menu and we couldn't get the lamb chops we originally came for, as this was our first time here. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!
