Jamaica Sunset Eatings

The food here is authentic and I love it.. They are open reasonably late at night. I've been here like 3 times now and the food has been great each time.. Food is vibrant in color, and very tasty. Now, the downside is there's normally a fly or 2 flying around. It's annoying, but to be expected since they grill is outside I think??. Not sure though.

All in all it's worth it to check them out. Just have patience because I've only seen one guy running this show by himself... Nice guy too.

Hands down this is the best Jamaican food I ever had in Georgia. I had almost everything he serves overtime. Best I ever came across.

The food was good. Showed up to get food from next door but they were closed as it was a Sunday. This one was open at about 6pm and to my surprise the food was good! They didn’t have all of what we wanted but oh well. Got the curry chicken pasta and jerk chicken with rice and peas. Very personal preparation as it’s smaller than next doors. The jerk was better than most I’ve had in GA. The gentleman was like your uncle or grandfather how he treated us. Thanks for feeding us.

Parking: The space is shared by multiple businesses but when we went it was Sunday which may be why it was empty.

I feel like I just ate out of a trash can. The food was terrible, I mean absolutely terrible. I had a dusty plantain that wasn't even fried more like heated up in a microwave. The Cabbage was not cooked all the way And had no flavor. Chicken was banging doe. I cant say nothing about the chicken. The rice was trash, tasted like it was cooked in a rice cooker and over cooked, mushy. Did not have that classic jamaican dirty rice flavor.

The food is okay and definitely not worth the upcharge at the register. They got the system rigged where it adds a 20% tip that can’t be bypassed. They act like it’s your fault. Exactly why it’s always empty! 20% on takeout!
