Cake ‘n Shake

Written by @Driven_Estates: If you are in need of a sugar rush!!!!! You will love this place! They have a lot of fun flavors to choose from, I haven't tried the all just yet but the strawberry cheesecake was Awesome!!! It gets very messy with kids so please bring some wet wipes. The only suggestions I have is I wish the decor was better, and I wish the seats were more comfortable (I know it's meant for an easy clean up but that's just my thoughts) otherwise Enjoy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

25 minutes for a simple chocolate shake and some nachos with just cheese yall. There was countless people waiting in the shop for their items. I wanted a refund because I was not made aware there was a wait on some shakes, but the cashier had to ask his manager first which makes no sense, I didn’t get one because he said my shake will be out next. Mind you their was people who ordered before me who should have gotten theirs first. At that point I just took it and left, we didn’t even get 3 stores down and we just threw out the shake because it was nasty. You clearly taste whatever powder they use. It was like drinking straight powder mixed with chemicals. I wasn’t even gonna go back for a refund since they didn’t want to give me one to begin with. I won’t recommend them to anyone, it’s gonna be a hard pass. This was clear poor management and masking poor quality ingredients with all the extras they add in shakes, but when you get a regular shake you really taste the poor quality.

Very large inside, music did not fit the atmosphere. My kids wanted to leave because the music was bringing them down. The staff was friendly and explained things to them. One shake had an entire slice of cheesecake on it. My eldest said the cupcake on the signature shake tasted like cornbread. The shakes were simple but they enjoyed them. If the decor was better we could become regulars just because we really like milkshakes.

Nice calm atmosphere. Lots of space with just enough color for brightness. They support military% ❤️ I got a simple cookies&cream (it was nice and thick too, yum!) but they so much more than plain/simple. I will return to this location again to try other options.

90/100. What an incredible place/space. My family and I found cake 'n shake while browsing local businesses along our travel route from MI to FL... and of course ice cream is perfect at any time of the day! The store was spotless, everyone was welcoming, and the desserts were stellar.Only 2 critiques. 1. Young man at the counter was a little quiet. Had to ask him to repeat himself a couple times. But his people skills are there! 2. The Cake and Shake's consistency was a little thin, and a bit more banana-y than I had imagined. But still delicious. Sidenote- whatever is on the side of the cup is on another level!!! I would eat a bowl of just that!! Happy we made the stop. Catch you on the next trip! ??

This place is amazing. I took my mother here yesterday and she loved it. "Yummy" was her words. I had a number 9 and I told them to replace the gummy worms with oreo cookies. I'm hooked. It was so good. I Scooped up all the sprinkles from the side of the cup. The design of the milkshake alone made me want to try it. It looked great and tasted even better. If you have not tried Cake n Shake you are missing out. The staff was very friendly and the orders were executed quickly. It was very clean and this location has a party room. I won't be going to any other icecream establishment.

OMG....... ??From the staff, the owner and the desserts ? .... Everything was great!! My son had the "For Real Though" ( Chips-A-Hoy) milkshake and I had the regular Cookie Dough shake. They were Amazing! The owner, Ms. Ronetta is an absolute gem ?!! Every dessert I saw other customers get looked delicious and there was NO COMPLAINTS!!The next time we're in traveling in the state, we will stop by!!

The email I wrote to the Clayton's (owners): I wasn't sure how to leave a review for the Tanger location but I figured this would get to you (the owners). First off, my family and I love love love Cake N Shake! This was our first time at the Tanger location. Your employees were EXTREMELY professional and kind! You could tell they were nervous because of all the people coming in and they kept apologizing for the wait. The young man at the front (I didn't catch his name but he had braces and wore rubber arm bracelets on each arm) apologized to me that our food was ready but not the shakes. He then said there were only two of them working in the back. I told him it was totally fine and they could take their time. I have to tell you every time we have come to Cake N Shake, we leave satisfied, ALWAYS!! It warms my heart to see young adults working hard and being polite/kind. Thank you for great service as always! We will definitely be back, probably tomorrow.

Yesterday me and my 6 yr old were shopping and he begged me to stop in for ice cream so we did, we had never visited and I thought the place was cool for kids. He ordered a superman shake and after we waited and waited for like 30 minutes a couple of orders came out for people who had came in after us, they had special toppings and all looked nice, but we kept waiting on this simple small superman shake. After my son finally was just ready to go, I asked how long and I was told it was coming right up....again orders come out but no superman shake, I asked for a refund and they brought it out before she could do it cool right? Well no we walked out got in the truck my son told me it taste funny, it didn't look like superman shake at all i took a picture of it and when we got home he wanted to throw it away this small $7 milkshake was a waste of time and money. I decided to put it in the freezer so I could return it today. I understand being short staffed but this place was not busy on Wednesday afternoon I cant think of a reason why a small mikeshake no toppings just milkshake could possibly take a half-hour. This place has sign explaining how they make mistakes but they will fix your orders and the wait time big as day on the wall...I read it while looking at the menu so that was my warning I guess.

I can't say enough about this establishment!For my son's 18th birthday I wanted to gift him with a video from the 18 of best men I know giving him a minute or two of life advice as he advanced into manhood. One of the 18 men was his father who passed away in 2009. We hadn't heard his voice for years because the video was trapped on a broken computer. I kept the computer not knowing it could be restored and was finally able to retrieve it.I had the video ready to go. All I needed was a restaurant with a private room that had a TV to show it on. Simple enough right? Wrong! If they had the space, they didn't have the TV. I contacted the owner of Cake n Shake, Vincent, and told him what I was trying to do. He had a private room, but no TV. ? So, what does Vincent do? He bought a TV and had it ready and waiting for us!! I don't think I've ever experienced customer service at this level! Also, the employees were top notch and took great care of our party. I will always recommend Cake n Shake! My son loved the video and we are now life long customers. Please book your parties with them and frequent their business!

The new location in locust grove does not have a bathroom that’s a big issue for a mom with kids going to enjoy something like this. The shakes are great but the bathroom thing will stop us from returning to the location. Usually the staff is friendly at the ola location the staff is cold and rude in locust grove.
