I love Denny's. So when we decided to go to the mall, I was excited to learn there was a Denny's in the middle. A classic Denny's no less. We were greeted and seated, so it looked like things were going to be great. We waited over 10 minutes to get our drink order and had to flag someone down to do that. Since it took so long, we were ready to order, so we ordered drinks and our food. Our drinks came out about five minutes later, our food took 40 minutes. Our order came out in batches. One person had their food almost 10 minutes before anyone else, and it seemed to stagger in that manner. I was last. I ordered Country Fried Steak Breakfast. I was told they were out of gravy and had to make some. Or I could just get my breakfast without it. I just decided to go without. Our server checked on us once, maybe twice. The food was not what I have come to expect at Denny's. If I had a choice between Denny's and iHop, I would normally choose Denny's, but not this Denny's. I'm not sure I'll ever go there again.

My mother and I ate there right at the start of Labor Day weekend and had a great experience. Gabby is a wonderful server and incredibly helpful. The food was delicious as well. Will definitely go back.

With major chains rejecting tradition, we opted to eat at one that still cherishes the traditional dining experience. Our server was Debbie and she was the only waitress taking care of 17 patrons equallying 5 different tables. Ms. Debbie was polite, kind, and expedient even the cook helped her run food and take care of guests. 1 table was a bit rude with her and snotty in their attitude towards her, but even then she was kind, apologetic and humble. The food was wonderfully made and delicious to eat. Dennys you need a fleet of Debbie's to run your stores. Southern folk want a traditional restaurant and you are definitely filling the gap. Jason the cook demonstrates team work and customer care by assisting the wait staff. Thank you for a great dinner!

We just loved the Denny’s Classic Diner in the Tanger Mall. The atmosphere is very much like a mid century design. The menu is huge with a great variety of dishes. The pancake breakfast I had was delicious. Our server and all of the staff were super friendly and attentive. A really fun place to eat.
