Let's start with us having to wait 30+ minutes when there were empty tables. There were groups ahead of us, but still. Upon getting seated, the hostess had to come back and see if we had been greeted because we sat so long. Still took too long to get drinks. I had to ask for the complimentary peach biscuits because we could already see it'd be a while before we saw food. And it was! Our server, older lady, took our order and went two other tables and stayed before putting our order in. We sat and sat and sat. Two tables that came in after us received their food before us. Sooo food arrives and my salmon burger is tasteless and dry as the ?. Server tells me I should have asked for medium well. Ma'am, you're the server. Shouldn't you have asked or told me? I wasn't about to wait another hour for another entrée, so I left hungry. My hubby ordered an extra piece of fish with his fish and grits and it was $12 for one piece. Wow!!! His food alone was $40. It was subzero in there today too. One customer went to get his hoodie. We had to tough it out through the extremely long wait. We usually have a good experience, but today was all around bad. They need more than three servers on a Saturday and apparently more kitchen help. Just very disappointed.

One of my favorite local spots for several years... going back to its old name,'heavenly cafe'!! Think I miss when it was a little less known, just a quaint spot near home.
But it's great to see their customer base is growing.
The food and service is exceptional and consistent; I never regret my selections.
They are definitely a wonderful staple and small business in our community ❤️
Keep up the great work.
Might be time to add more space y'all ?

Definition of a hidden gem. First time here, and definitely will be back. Service was great and good for the value. My wife recommends the pepper jack cheese grits and the catfish. Big breakfast was indeed big might need a To-go box.

Headed to do some shopping at the outlets and decided to eat first and I glad we decided on this place from the other google reviews. We had the strawberry and cinnamon rolls, the blueberry biscuit, salmon and grits, catfish and everything was amazing. The grits were a perfect balance of creamy and not too cheesy, fish fried to perfection, hot and not over seasoned. Salmon was seasoned well, tender and flaky. We plan on driving the 30 plus minutes to try them out again.
PS… if you haven’t already; get your signage on the front of your building, we had to drive up to the door to make sure we were going to the right place.

We are here to eat. The restaurant has 9 empty tables. She told us the wait is 10 minutes, ok so we were going to wait inside as there was just 2 of us. She said no, please wait outside, I asked in the HEAT? Yes in the heat! You have so many empty tables though? She responded and said we are saving those for big parties. Come on really???

I have heard so many good things about this place. We finally tried it out today. It was a huge disappointment!! First we were asked at the door if we wanted plastic or metal utensils. My husband and I looked at each other like, huh?? We chose the metal and got a fork. No spoon or knife! Next surprise was the prices on the menu. I’m not cheap but wow!! I wanted pancakes but wasn’t about to pay $7.75 for two. A cup of coffee was $3.75. We ordered an omelet which was good. Got a half order of the sausage gravy and biscuit. Not close to being as good as mine. We left most of it there. Sadly our total was $47 and some change, before tip. If you like to throw your money away, just go to Waffle House.

This is a nice restaurant. Cozy and best of all the food was great. My husband and I had filly cheese steak sandwich and collards. Mac n cheese very good as well. They are very nice and attentive to there customers. Will keep them on my list.
This is a gem of a place. We stumbled upon this place while going peach picking. And I tell you the food was amazing! Will be back. The staff were all very sweet and hospitable. Also the place is very quaint.
