I’m giving five star. Best sausage gravy biscuit I ever had and I had plenty. Lol.
My wife had shrimp and grits were delicious
We shared blueberry -cinnamon bun with walnuts. Delicious.
Young blue haired kid, who was hostess this morning (10/18) did have an attitude as soon as we entered, which was the only downside of restaurant. Maybe needs a little more training.
But definitely going back food was superb!

Always hot and fresh food. My order even from DD was still hot and delicious! Their fried chicken on croissant is my favorite, pepper jack grits are heavenly! I was halfway done before remembering to give this review. Yes, it’s that good! Thank you to your entire staff.

Three words - Collard Green Eggrolls! They are so delicious and a fusion of two worlds I would not have imagined! Not to take away from their amazing food and service otherwise. I highly recommend Southern Fusion Dining, you won't regret it!

Atmosphere is cute and service was tried but left us spending more time than we wanted. We picked the restaurant while traveling south on 75 amd don't regret it. The 10 minute wait time to be seated was only 5 and 10 more minutes to order drinks. 35 minute wait for food plus us at 1 hour 26 minutes total time there plus travel time from I-75. Your can tell quality by hour a simple thing like grits are cooked. Theirs are great. Everything from the croissant to the quiche is worth visiting amd paying high prices. Don't expect the discounts for seniors as they find any excuse not to give it. Other than that the area should be happy to have good food at a nice place to relax (forced or otherwise)

My husband and I tried a new spot for breakfast this morning- Southern Fusion in Locust Grove.

To say this was the best breakfast I’ve had in a while would be an understatement. After just a few bites, I literally stopped mid-meal to snap a picture because I knew I’d have to rave about it. I even made my husband pause, too.

He ordered the “Big Breakfast” but swapped the regular waffle for their red velvet waffle, and wow, what a genius invention. The bacon was cut thick, almost like hardwood planks, and packed with smoky flavor.

I went with the salmon croquette over grits, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and delicious all the way through. The little cup of orange sauce on the side? Light, lemony, Cajun/Creole inspired, and absolutely chef’s kiss. Paired with the pepper jack grits underneath, it was a perfect flavor combo. Their country potatoes were also cooked perfectly, full of flavor.

The portions were so generous I couldn’t even finish my plate, and honestly, I was mad about it because I didn’t want to stop eating! I even turned to the two ladies who had just sat down next to us and told them, “I’m jealous of you both… you’ve still got empty stomachs!” We all laughed as I bragged about how good everything was.

Our server (I think his name started with a Z—Zayne? Zack? Sorry, my memory’s awful) was such a gentleman. He made excellent recommendations, treated us like royalty, and made us feel completely at home. As we were checking out, another staff member mentioned how great it is to work there, and how their boss is always the first to arrive and last to leave. That says a lot about the heart behind this place.

It was surprisingly slow while we were there between 9–10 a.m., which honestly made me sad because the food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. I think this was around $35 without the tip. They deserve way more buzz. And now that I know they serve lunch too, you better believe we’ll be back!

The food was soooooo delicious! 10/10! They do not rush in preparing the food but it’s worth the wait because the food is fresh! The pepper jack grits are amazing! Xavier was very polite and was a great server! We will be returning! I was amazed to learn that the chef is the owner and prepares the food:)
