My daughter and I decided to get dinner here because we enjoy the food. It has been quite a while since we had been here and boy has this place changed ... for the worse. They no longer have table service. You step up to the counter and place your order and pay for it on a kiosk. Then you dispense your own drink, find an open table and wait for your order number to be called.
I was excited to see mustard relish to be available again so I ordered it for my burger. When we finally got our order (after waiting almost 20 minutes) I went to taste the mustard relish and it was not the mustard relish Steak 'n Shake was known for. It almost looked like they just rough cut pickles in the store and mixed a little mustard into them. The burgers were also overcooked. We will not be visiting this location again.

Was not finished with my order and just told me to pull around…. I even tried to ask for a meal and he didn’t even ask about me about drink just told me to pull around… I wanted a shake and to add cheese to my fries…. We will see if they are willing to accommodate that at the window at least the fries. No customer service anymore. wow, and no cheese sauce… I just knew they weren’t gonna be able to do it

This steak 'n shake sucks. Don't offer anything for veterans on veterans day. Yet when you look it up steak 'n shake veterans day says they do. Just not the one located in Locust Grove. Last time I'll try and eat there any day.

The drive through cashier was very friendly and very good at suggesting different items.
Out of MANY things on our visit, and my burger was stone cold (didn't even melt the cheese). I also greatly dislike the new self-service system, feels more like a McDonald's now, instead of a premium burger place.

We got 4 meals from the drive thru. The food was fine. I only has 1 issue, and I was trying to call them to discuss with them privately. Just to give them a heads up for the future orders. There was a long hair inside of my burger, under the bun. I didn't want my $ back, I didn't want another burger. I just wanted them to know so others did not have to get hair in their burgers. I called their number and kept getting a voicemail type recording saying the mailbox was full. How can they speak to the customers about issues if they refuse to answer the phone?
