Definitely have no clue what the 5 stars are all about. The food was no good, good for one time try. Pastries were bad just sugar water and whatever it is made off. Service was very poor, didn't care about our presence. It's pick up at counter and dine. Definitely would not return or recommend anybody

If you're a real gyro foodie you would like Athena's. We're from up north where the gyro options are more traditional which includes an entire breakfast menu, which is the reason behind the 3 stars. The taste and quality are definitely worth the trip and money. Definitely better than any mall gyro you may try. The staff are very friendly, courteous, respectful and eager to fix any misunderstandings, and doing so in a professional manner. Even if it's crowded the wait isn't an inconvenient one. They don't have the gyro philly, but they do have a steak philly that's similar. You just have to ask for it to be made with gyro meat instead. All in all Athena's gets a thumbs 👍🏾 from this repeated customer.

The meat in gyro was hard and dry, and they've changed their fries from crinkle cut to thin shoe string. The fries were over cooked and tasted like the fries and meat had been sitting under a heat lamp. Food was disappointing. Probably will not return to this location.

Always good!! Been visiting them 7 or 8 years. Food is Always good fresh hot made to order. The prices have barely changed since I've been a customer. Few cents or a dollar more really. Highlight for us, Chicago gyro, pizza, gyro salad.
