Horrible experience! I would NEVER support this business again. First, my lobster bites tasted like it was dipped in salt and fried in old oil. Then, my food came out like warm. The Mac and cheese was hot, but the greens and shrimp was like warm, if that. How does food come out of a kitchen cold? I sent it back, and Amber brought them back cold twice! She had the nerve to roll her eyes as she was walking away. At that point, I told her I didn’t want the food anymore. I wasn’t interested in getting sick. Amber claimed the main cook walked out and his sister had to take over in the kitchen. Amber thought she was doing me a favor by telling me that she took the food off of my check. Honestly, what really pisses me off is the deception. Amber is a thief. She held the device that is used to pay for our meal close to her and wouldn’t allow us to see our total. She held the screen out to us when it was on the tip screen and said, “You can add your tip here.” This girl didn’t even tell us that gratuity was already added to the bill!!!! Horrible service and she got $30 in gratuity?!?! She didn’t even want to give us the receipt. I had to ask for it because I couldn’t understand how we paid over $100 when only one of us ate! We planned to tip her because I didn’t think she shouldn’t get a tip because of the kitchen’s error, but the issue is the whole establishment at this point. To employ dishonest people, and serve a $25 plate of food that wasn’t even hot is nasty work! Horrible Valentine’s Day meal. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone!

The atmosphere was great. The DJ was a whole vibe. I love the bartender and the food was the best!

Stopped here while visiting from out of town for the Thanksgiving Holiday, enjoyed the DJ, atmosphere and delicious food! I'll definitely make this one of my favorite places to visit for brunch!

The ambiance is amazing! Music was great! Staff was friendly! Food came out really quick. I got the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. This place is also black owned which is great!

This is a quaint spot , the decor is nice . Music is very loud and cannot hear yourself talk . The server had to lean over the table and yell to take our order. The food is good but pricey, about 40 bucks a person . Not fine dining but a good spot to meet up with friends. The chicken and waffles were good but a little undercooked . The shrimp and grits is a large portion… the dish contains sausage and is little spicy and lots of grease…the grits were a little running and not smooth very gritty… shrimp are huge .
Overall I would go back again , hopefully the music will not be as loud .

I came to this Hidden Gem, and was disappointed that is was a small wait (Petty on my part, I know). But the right hand of God, touched a young lady to save the day, she said come back in. And she made it possible, thank you ladies for the terrific everything. The atmosphere was relaxing, good music from the DJ, and the staff was a well oiled machine. I noticed that every one of there staffing, was observant and asked was you ok. Now let's get to the food, I started with the salmon croquet as an appetizer. And this was created by an angel, the chef was the nicest. Even ran out and conversated for a split second, ok back to the food. Chicken and waffles were a hit (sidenote: pineapple jelly). Then when I thought it couldn't get better, the moment I fell in love. Pineapple upside down bread pudding, I have no words that would be fair to use in the description of this dish. But it is ...... Ummmm.... Just try it, and you'll smile immediately after tasting. It will definitely be a must go, whenever in the area. I want to apologize to staff, but in all my glee I never got there names. Beautiful people, beautiful place. Thank you!!!!

I absolutely love this place, Randi the bartender is an absolute joy and master at her craft. Each drink is worth the price and I would pay more. The music is on point and the host is a beautiful first impression to a beautiful establishment. And I am writing this review BEFORE I’ve gotten my food and regret nothing!

My wife and I ate here this morning. The food is very good 10/10, and the service was just as good. Randi was our server, she has a great personality and was very welcoming 10/10. The Peach Cobbler French Toast is crazy!!! We will definitely be back.

There is a 20% gratuity on evety check. No one told me, and I should have looked at the check... Anyway, I tipped the server 20% on top of that. I definitely think someone should have mentioned it to me.
