The food is good. Twice with no problems. Next time I ordered on the phone to pickup. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there in 20 minutes but there was no order in the system and no one could confirm they even took the order. They offered to make it then but I couldn't wait any longer. Whoever the lady was that took my order on the phone never actually placed the order.
Eaten here at least 15 times now. The food has been consistent and good for the most part. Today my guacamole salad was nearly non existent. About a teaspoon of sourcream and a teaspoon of guacamole. Maybe 2 tablespoons of beans and rice. Not very pleased this time
Update:
Apparently after searching Google for the Lula restaurant, I was given the phone number to Flowery Branch. This was actually a Google mistake. I will be going back soon.
Starting with the atmosphere: Mexican music - We enjoy the cultural music but not when it's being played so loud you can't carry on a conversation. When the waiter came with our order, he had to scream that the plates were hot. We jokingly replied, "what, we can't hear you... the music is too loud." Another group came in and had no problem shouting among themselves, so our nerves were shattered before we could leave. Service: Okay. Food: We ordered the Pollo Asado - I've had beef jerky before, but never chicken jerky. It looked like the chicken breast had been thinly sliced and placed on the Norfolk Southern train tracks just outside and then fried/grilled to a dry tough texture. - Was not impressed with the margaritas either, so it will be time to continue our search for a place that we miss called, Panchos. It's a thousand miles north of here, but worth the drive :)

Just moved back to the Lula area after some time of living in Atlanta. I got the Texas fajita nachos and mushroom enchilada!! So, yummy!! I ate there 3 times in one week!

We ordered as soon as they opened, we ordered two burritos with steak, shrimp, and chicken. 2 shrimp in both burritos. Meat was dry dry. Couldn’t even eat it. Had to throw it away. Won’t be eating here again.

Food is way too expensive. We placed a to go order and it was 69.00 for 4 people. I called back and cancelled it and bought somewhere else. Mexican food is not worth that kind of money especially here in Lula. All these restaurants are ripping people off. Don't buy from these places.

Kid-friendliness: My sister is a picky eater and they had some options that she’d eat! It was really helpful!

The food was awful and as a Spanish speaking American I didn't appreciate the staff trying to talk around me with Spanish. All in all it was a terrible experience !!

Cheese dip was literally like water, so of course the nachos were soggy. When I first inquired why so watery I was told it was from the beef grease in the nachos. When I pointed out it was like that on the ACP dish as well, our server said that’s the way it’s always served ?? When I cashed out, the two women rudely discussed in Spanish whether to charge us full price or not, as if we couldn’t understand what they were saying. Rude!! They charged me full price for the soggy nachos that were too soggy to eat. I will NEVER be back. Sarita’s will have ALL my business from here on out.
