I'm still blown away at how AWESOME and TALENTED Becky is. She made my son a Roblox cake of the character he plays as and it was AMAZING. The detail was spot on, the sculpting was perfect and the cake tasted YUUUUMMMMYYY. Whatever tall and complicated order you place with Rising Star Bakery, no doubt she will create a cake that will blow you and your party guests away.

I absolutely do not recommend Rising Star Bamery. Not even to my worst enemy. You'll get better service from Walmart. I decided against my better judgment of hiring a reputable Company to design my wedding cake.. I instead decided to support a small business, that was a huge mistake.. And it will be for you if you decide to go with RSB. I hired Becky to design and create my wedding cake during the pandemic. Unfortunately, because of covid, we had to reschedule our wedding to 2022. Becky seemed nice and accommodating to the reschedule. However, my husband and I decided to get married in a courthouse on our original scheduled wedding date. (That particular day had significant meaning to me and my heart was set on that being our wedding anniversary. No, The reschedule date was not the same day..) If nobody told you, trying to plan a destination wedding during a global pandemic is very complicated. It's not easy financially, physically, and mentally.. Unfortunately, my (now) husband and I decided to cancel our 2022 wedding celebration/reception and host another year since we needed to prioritize our recovery. Somehow Becky knew that we got married on our original date and decided that wasn't enough reason for her to issue the refundable portion of my payments. Keep in mind, It taken almost 3 months for her to even TALK ABOUT withholding her end of the contract. I emailed her on 12/21/2021, she claimed she had covid, I was considerate and allowed her recovery time. A month later is when she/her team (who ever was emailing me back) accused me of canceling for other reasons. (Like my courthouse wedding.) I explained to her that we were dealing with unrealted personal matters and that I just wanted my half of the payment refunded to me so I could get on with my life since having to cancel was already hard enough.. She aggressively claimed I caused her to lose business even though I canceled 9 months in advance. (Its a cake, be realistic- it doesnt take that long. Most places require 4-6 months when booking) She then proceeded to tell me that the money I was owed back was different than what was written in our contract. (Contract stated the deosit was 50% and only 25% was nonrefundable) She claimed it was previously discussed so, I looked through all of our correspondences: Email, contract, text messages, Facebook messages, nothing. Nowhere did I have in writing where my deposit was what she was claiming it to be. Nor was she able to provide any proof of that claim. She stated we spoke about it in person but we met only ONCE in person and that was BEFORE the contract was sent to me at the initial meeting. When I informed her that claim wasnt in writing, she ignored and disregarded me completely. Obviously, that upset me and she then immediately stopped responding to me. Absolutely none of my emails were returned in over a week even though she had be very prompt with accusing me. When she finally responded over a week later, she told me she was busy working with other clients because it was "wedding season." I'm no professional but according to every vendor i've worked with while trying to plan my wedding; wedding season isn't in late January. But I digress.. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and gave her some time to respond. She didn't, of course. However, What she did instead was constantly upload live videos to her Facebook account all while encouraging people to book her. This led me to believe that she had obviously had no major influx of clients in January and was just deliberately ignoring me. If you want my advice, you're better off hiring anyone but her to make your wedding cake. Because at least then you're likely to get some actual customer service. Instead of someone kying to you, stealing your money and then giving you the run around and ignoring you like a child. I've even sent Becky and her team emails to resolve and settle this but she continues to dodge them. I attempted to settle and say "OK just give me 50% per my contract. Since thats wha

By far the best cake made by the sweetest and most professional baker! The three tier Mickey Mouse cake was the star of the party! She was willing to make the smash cake without sugar for my little and it was every bit as delicious as the Mickey Mouse cake! I'll never order another cake from anyone else! Give this lady your business, you won't be disappointed!
