Stinson's Bar-B-Que

Parked for the night. Lumber City does not have a large food selection so I went with the local joint. Very pleased that I did. Ordered a rib plate with the season fries and a peach tart for dessert. The place is clean and inviting. Food came out in an appropriate amt. of time. It was hot and plentiful. Ribs were juicy with a great favor. Meat fell from the bone for the most part. The rest was barely touched before separating. The fries were a little lacking on the seasoning but they were cooked to perfection. The peach tart was genuinely home made. The crust was light and flaky. It was filled with hot filling that wasn’t over sweetened. Splendid compliment to my meal. So when you’re down this way, get off the interstate and stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

Just moved from out of state to the area and everyone raved about this dingy place. I tried it 2 times to give benefit of doubt and both times I gave to the dogs. Literally 1 bite and spit that out... Super GROSS 🤢🤢

Food is so nasty. The sauce is toxic. I tried a brisket with and without sauce. It was super tough. How is brisket tough? Ask these people. Go to Subway, lol

We were just passing thru when we stopped. It was a toss up between here and a bbq joint in hazelhurst. Small town vibes but not exactly southern hospitality. I was anxious about the food being good but let me tell you this.. BEST BBQ IN MY LIFE. Chose to-go but never made it out the parking lot lol I got a large bbq sandwich with onion rings, my husband got the stuffed bbq potato with coleslaw. Highly recommend.

Ribs was definitely shoe leather!!

Stinson's should have been on the 10 Best GA BBQ places. Classic southern mustard base BBQ sauce. Great food and very nice personnel!
