Parked for the night. Lumber City does not have a large food selection so I went with the local joint. Very pleased that I did. Ordered a rib plate with the season fries and a peach tart for dessert. The place is clean and inviting. Food came out in an appropriate amt. of time. It was hot and plentiful. Ribs were juicy with a great favor. Meat fell from the bone for the most part. The rest was barely touched before separating. The fries were a little lacking on the seasoning...
We were just passing thru when we stopped. It was a toss up between here and a bbq joint in hazelhurst. Small town vibes but not exactly southern hospitality. I was anxious about the food being good but let me tell you this.. BEST BBQ IN MY LIFE. Chose to-go but never made it out the parking lot lol I got a large bbq sandwich with onion rings, my husband got the stuffed bbq potato with coleslaw. Highly recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious the first time I went but the second time I saw they using they bare hands fixing food even taking fries out the basket to put in bags with bare hands and that definitely was a no go
