Great food and great people! This is the place to be for good old fashioned southern barbecue and ice cream.
Very delicious Loaded Baked Potato... Only complaint is I should have bought some original Bourbon BBQ sauce to save for later.

100% go here if you are in the area. Their hours are funky because this is totally a mom&pop kind of place, this couple does it all and the food is spot on! A gem in the area for sure!

An absolute gem! We were following the "GA Grown" trail and decided on this place because of their bbq and homemade ice cream. We're so glad we did! The food was perfect and the hospitality amazing. A true independent, small, DELICIOUS, perfect business to support!
Sometimes it is just a nice change of pace to drive a few miles down scenic roads into the green countryside to experience a hidden gem like Lottie's Pocket. It sits at a crossroads where Highway 56 meets Johnson's Corner Road in an agricultural area of Toombs County called Toombs Central, technically part of the town of Lyons. It seems like the sort of place that truckers would be most likely to discover by accident on their travels. Lucky them! But lucky us, too, because we got a word-of-mouth recommendation. A local resident pointed us towards the best BBQ that we've had so far in Georgia, where folks take BBQ seriously. The pulled pork is succulently juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of pecan wood smokiness. The delicious peach ice cream tastes homemade, because it is. The folks who run the place are the friendliest people you'll ever buy a meal from. Service is also as fast as it is cordial. Make the drive and check it out; you'll be glad you did.
Parking: Like much of Low-Country-Georgia parking, where the land was once long ago the Atlantic ocean seafloor, it's right out on the front lawn, no asphalt necessary.

We just had lunch from there and agreed that it was the best BBQ we've had in Georgia so far. The pulled pork was moist, tender, juicy, and flavorful with just the right amount of smokiness.

This small, out of the way restaurant has some of the most savory barbecue ribs that I have had the pleasure to gobble down!!The meat, so moist and tender, fell off the bones. Your taste buds will be dancing for joy as the ribs and sauce blend and melt together with each tempting bite. Mmmm!!
