4 stars only. The food was really good but otherwise on the pricy side. There was 4 of us eating and we got the cheapest things we could. One hamburger steak plate, one fish plate, one chicken finger plate and one chicken sandwich with fries and 4 drinks was $71. The fish and hamburger steak should have been about 26. That was some expensive chicken sandwich and fingers and fries. The chicken sandwich was a finger sandwich. We had salad that had on menu was $3.50 and salad/entree...

The fried shrimp and oysters very good. The baked potato was more boiled than baked, next time won't get that. If possible order ahead, if go in and order be prepared to wait a while.

The Whale’s Tail is a family owned local restaurant serving fresh, well prepared seafood! The portions are large, the quality & freshness are excellent, & the service is good, & the prices are reasonable! All in all, The Whale’s Tail was a very enjoyable experience! I heartily recommend it!
