If I could give a 0 star review I would. So I ordered their Dibbi w/ jollof rice on Ubereats for $24.99. The restaurant called me and told me that I would have to pay an extra $10 to have the jollof rice. I explain to them calmly and respectfully that isn’t what was shown in the Ubereats app and if they insist on the $10 being paid they should cancel / refuse the order. Not only did they accept the order, they refused to cancel, told me they would leave it unprepared and leave it up to me to reach out to Uber for an order they themselves refused to prepare as shown on the app.Very unprofessional and poor business practice from the owner here. As a result for the poor service, issuing my review here and advising future potential guests to be aware

If you’re ok with paying top dollar for microwaved leftovers then go here. The food is good but it’s from days ago. The atmosphere is like a laundromat. Only two slowly spinning ceiling fans. I chose to support an African restaurant because we need to support. However, having a menu with American, Italian, Mediterranean and African should have been a red flag. Only thing they were missing was Chinese or Japanese food. They dont have the kitchen space or the staff to cook ALL those varieties. If you want real African food go to Mama Put in Fayetteville/Riverdale area. You can see them in the back cooking the food in huge pots. Not left overs

So it was completely dead in there only 1 guy! I ordered the lamb mafe fufu. The man said he would make it fresh. But as I was waiting in this quiet restaurant I could hear him getting the food out the fridge and putting it in the microwave. I got home and it was still ice cold in the middle. He maybe had it in the microwave 2 minutes each container. It tastes good but for $21 I was hoping for freshly made food!

I ordered curry chicken, which came with 2 chicken backs, disappointing for a $20 plate. My kids wanted to try Fufu, so I also ordered Fufu and chicken stew.

I would give this a solid 4. I got the lamb curry with traditional African rice cake. The lamb curry had too many potatoes than actual lamb itself which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, the curry tasted pretty good. The African rice cake was very gooey thoogh, not sure if it’s supposed to taste that way. The owner did a pretty good job in packaging the meal for take out which I much appreciate

Friendly atmosphere and good food. 4 stars because I was expecting the usual spicy food west African food is known for, but still really tasty. The oxtails and egusi soup are delicious. Going back for the okra soup.

The cassava leaf is pretty good, but you can tell it’s not fresh.? Everyone in my house had straight diarrhea after eating here. It’s not even in there. I don’t recommend. They not even friendly.

I tried the Thiebou Yap! And OMG!! It was soooo good!! I wanted to sit there and eat the entire container in one sitting! The lamb meat was so tender and flavorful. The lady at the counter was nice and explained the dishes i was questioning. This was my first time having this type of African cuisine. I'm more familiar with Nigerian cuisines but this rice dish was by far the best i cannot even lie! I will be back! I also tried the sorrel and it was very tasty! Give this place a try. It was clean and didn't smelled great!

Fantastic dishes! Make sure you like spicy if you order the j*** fish, it was delicious but too hot for me. My boyfriend loved it. Their homemade juices are wonderful too! Make sure to try the sorrel guava juice.
